Lawfare has a couple of really good podcasts on the subject of Haspel. My takeaway from this is that she has a religious-like reverence for “The Agency.” It’s like she’s a Moonie.

She has been asked the question many times about the morality or lack thereof regarding torture. She avoids and/or refuses to answer those questions. Clearly Ms. Haspel does NOT believe that torture is immoral.
That should end the question, as well as her candidacy for Director of the CIA.
