Basically the Jersey bully needs a job and he desperately wants to stay in the game. He has been a failure as governor and people in Jersey finally realized that he was just another con-artist with no people skills or interest in their problems.

Hard not to revel in the public embarrassment and humiliation of a bully like Chris Christie - but he belongs in that first tier of people who are both ruthless and petty in their naked lust for power. He has thrown many a minion under the bus so it is particularly satisfying to see the wheels rolling over him this time. I am sure there are a lot of people who used to work for him who are enjoying it even more than me.
