Well if Wilco is cool with it, than golly gosh everything must be hunky dory.
Hey, Tweedy and his band are very level-headed and socially aware. I applaud him for acknowledging some progress and not punishing his fans. I’m a big fan.
I’m cool with Wilco. Indiana, not so much. I think the whole point of this charade was dog whistling anyway. IA paleos could repeal the whole thing tomorrow and look like heroic victims to their constituents. Just a stunt from people who are wrong about everything anyway.
From an Indianapolis paper:
““Given what this community has done to be a welcoming place to
everybody, it’s just so painful to see this,” said Mark Miles, CEO of Hulman & Co., owner of the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.”
Mr Hulman, if I were you I’d send a letter to the powers that be in the Indiana legislature and tell them to quit with the hatred of LBGT folks. Impress upon those cretins that the Constitution already says we must all be equal before the law (8th amendment). But being as I live in Arizona the Hoosier legislators likely would not give a hoot for what I think. It’s tough enough to get my state members to listen to me.
I new they wouldn’t stick to their guns. All of the critics will now bow down to the mediocre changes and the GOP will smirk and add a little provision here and another provision there and no one will be the wiser.
wimp
Discrimination is still in the law.
Wilco who?
That’s Mr Wilco to you!
But please…call him Roger.
Whew!!!
Publicity stunt pays off…
Apparently the stand Wilco took was on a three legged stool that was missing one leg.
