“Blunt had just finished up an event at his alma mater Missouri State University, where he got to inform the school’s chorale group they would be performing at January’s inauguration, prompting joyous tears among the singers.”
How nice !
Does Blunt support more stringent background checks for the purpose of purchasing guns? ? Does he support an increase in the minimum wage? Does he oppose voter suppression?
Hey, Roy, here’s the Goodbye Old Pussygrabber’s crater. Hop in.
Trademark that puppy!
How these sleazebag lower-tier GOP mouthpieces can slam “career politicians” yet out of the other side of their ass talk about how Blunt’s “experience” (read: career politician) is too precious to lose, is just fucking amazing.
It reinforces the creeping feeling among the intelligent in this country that we are doomed to destruction at the hands of morons.
I’ve been wondering for days why Kander hasn’t been hanging trump around Roy’s neck. I say it’s still worth a shot.
What did Tierney do to get exiled to Missouri???
Damn. Okay; add me to the list of Sneed fans.
Hey now…
He can’t, because the good folk in MO will still vote for Trump, no matter what. Not all of them, but enough. He has to be careful… at least for now. Just wait till more tape comes out - and about 3 billion more grope stories.
Anyone want to place a bet on whether or not Trump shows up at the last debate?
He made a comment yesterday that seemed to be saying he wasn’t going to attending.
Which in many ways, is quintessential Trump…when its completely clear he is losing, he quits and blames it on external forces being unfair. (Actually, its a pretty common trait with republicans in general).
It raises the question, though…at what point does he quit the campaign for similar reasons?
My father’s family came from Missouri. I think they would all be horrified at Trump, Blunt, and their supporters. I know I am. Missouri is known for common sense and for devotion to family. I’m seeing none of that in Mr Trump. None.
Um… became a good writer?
If ever there was a person who deserved to be voted out of office it is Roy Blunt. He has been lining his pocket for decades and delivering little to the citizens of Missouri. There is an interstate highway between Kansas City and St. Louis called I-70. It might be the worst section of interstate in this part of the nation. Blunt has done nothing to make funds available to widen or repair that highway. Kansas City has an airport that is falling down. Blunt hasn’t been part of the solution to that problem. In fact the only time we hear about Blunt is when he wants votes.
McCaskill hasn’t been a great Senator, but at least she tries to help Kansas City and St. Louis (the states two large urban areas) Roy Blunt really is the Senator from Southern Missouri.
Let’s be “blunt,” Blunt’s trying to tout his “longevity” while denying he is an “insider” is spinning bull shit.
Sorry the crazy has grown and spread from the southwest corner to cover most of the state, except for St. Louis and Kansas City. The state’s motto Show Me has turned into Show Me the lobbyist’s money and I’ll show you my vote.
The urge towards term limits is because Joe Voter hates the incumbent YOU vote for. Joe is perfectly satisfied with his incumbent.
The only time we see Roy boy is when he is poising for picture with veterans in MO, and when the voting for money for the VA or other veteran’s concerns we see where he voted NO.
His wife and adult children are all lobbyists. Any guesses who they are lobbying?
