The only thing missing is a few burning crosses . I think I’ll invest in white sheet producers
(shaking head from side to side) Well, there ya go – that might make you biased … against rat fucking. Poor rats … although, if my past experience says anything, the rats haven’t much to fret because most Republican men I’ve ever had, ahem, relations with were pencil-dicked … and even rats’ buttholes would prove an easy slide.
Conservatives are doing similar things in North Carolina and Colorado, probably elsewhere - it is a strategy outlined here:
They were dated to the early morning hours of April 6, 2011. At that time, the incumbent and GOP favorite in the Supreme Court race, then-Justice David Prosser, clung to a razor-thin election lead over the candidate favored by Democrats, Judge Joanne Kloppenburg. Steve Baas, a lobbyist for the Metropolitan Milwaukee Association of Commerce and former Republican legislative staffer, floated an idea on the email thread: “Do we need to start messaging ‘widespread reports of election fraud’ so we are positively set up for the recount regardless of the final number? I obviously think we should.” Scott Jensen — the former GOP Assembly Speaker turned lobbyist for American Federation for Children, a private school voucher advocacy group — quickly responded: “Yes. Anything fishy should be highlighted. Stories should be solicited by talk radio hosts.” In another email, Jensen writes that Prosser “needs to be on talk radio in the morning saying he is confident he won and talk radio needs to scream the Dems are trying to steal the race.”

Voter fraud my ass!!
Repukes have to cheat! I guess pence doesn’t want to lose his home state!
It’s a political move, designed to send a message to people who think voter fraud is a problem. “Vote for us, and we’ll fix this whole voter fraud mess.”
This was ordered by Indiana Governor Mike Pence. No doubt in my mind.
But… Why? Do all the voter registration you want in Indianapolis and Gary, it’s not going to nudge Indiana out of the Trump column.
Ahh…then they are not speaking to just Indiana, but America as a whole. That makes sense. It’s twisted, but logical.
Very true, but I believe this was meant to send a chilling message across the nation to other states – especially the purple ones like North Carolina.
Yes, but it seems to be Conservatives who get arrested for testing the system. Only then after handcuffs do they realize it works…
There is a hotly contested Senate election in IN, where the Democrat is currently leading and could be critical for Demo Senate control.
If this is the standard, it would be so easy to shut down any voter registration drive just by sending a few people in to fill out fake applications. I’ve done some voter registration, and it isn’t up to the person taking the form to verify the information provided–how could they?
Holy shit.
Really - holy shit. This is America?
Couldn’t help but notice there were people of color in that photo. They stand out in Indiana, you know.
“the Indiana Voter Registration Project’s efforts in nine counties”
Which 9 counties and what are their demographics, TPM?
And why aren’t you asking questions like that and providing answers as part of the article?
See the damage a 5-4 Republican leaning Supreme Court can do? Imagine a 6-3 or a 7-2 Republican court.
Which is itself a coded message meaning “vote for us and we’ll fix this whole problem with minorities voting.”
I don’t either, but I understand the butt plugs are much smaller.
At least that’s what I heard on Alex Jones…
(1.) State police are investigating the Indiana Voter Registration Project
(2.) Indiana’s Secretary of State Connie Lawson, who was a key sponsor of Indiana’s 2005 voter (photo) ID law …alleged that “nefarious actors are operating here in Indiana."
(2.) Patriot Majority is the D.C.-based group managing the voter registration drive in Indiana.
now for clarity -
Patriot Majority USA was founded in 2005 by Democratic political strategist Craig Varoga, who managed former Iowa Gov. Tom Vilsack’s presidential campaign in the 2008 election and was national field director for Gen. Wesley Clark’s 2004 campaign. Varoga is also the group’s president.
so if you see Pence’s fingerprints all over this voter intimidation - you are probably correct.
“The Intercept also wrote that Lawson had cited 10 individual voter registration forms as fraudulent”
