Discussion for article #239215
Roger Stone is an odious piece of work. During the 2008 presidential campaign, Republican operative Roger Stone, founded an anti-Hillary group called Citizens United Not Timid. Yes the initials spell cunt. And no, itâs not a coincidence. Stone is not the only prominent Republican to refer to a female Democrat party leader as such. Hannity essentially called Nancy Pelosi - Joe Biden with a cunt on air during a panel discussion. Hannity was much more direct than Donald was in trying to make a âMegyn was on the ragâ joke. Hannity starts setting up his line at the 1.14 minute mark: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q3YkciRGXig
Has Megyn ever called Stone, or her fellow employee at Fox out for his misogyny? Donât hold your breath. Wonât ever happen. IOKIYAR.
Both the campaign staff and Donald Trump deserve kudos for doing so well in such a large Republican field. Donald Trump has a taken an unorthodox approach that bucks conventional wisdom and the Republican base trusts him more than any other campaign.
Well, the candidate making xenophobic and sexist comments that appeal to the GOP base doesnât require much effort from the campaign staff.
Lets remind folks just how sleazy Roger Stone is!
I read that article in 2010 while researching Stone. They shouldâve showed his back with the Nixon tattoo.
Poll: Trump Remains in Commanding Lead After Debate Drama
lmaoâŚand as they GOPigs look at the latest numbers, the Republicansâ begin bleeding from their eyes, and bleeding from their âbqhatevwr.â
Goooooâ Donald! Donât you let those Repukes treat you like that! You take that YOOOOOGEâ and sterling campaign team of yours and go Third Party on their asses! Itâs the only way!
You created him GOP, heâs your IDâŚand heâs saying what you all really believe. Enjoy him! (I know I am.____Need more popcorn!)
Trump lives and dies with leverage. He wants a big payout to go away. It costs him NOTHING to stay (and offers a UUUGEE return on investment even if he flames out), and it will cost the GOP a lot of money to get him to bow out. Heâs leveraging his obnoxiousness in a business deal.
FYI. The âTâ in TPM stands for Trump.
Ah, so then the lack of an "Sâ in TPM is why there is no coverage of Bernie Sanders.
In the image with this article you see a smiling Trump. But take a close look. Itâs not a smile of mirth. The eyes are the giveaway.
I read somewhere that the staffers at Breitbart are claiming that Trump paid Breitbart for favorable coverage. Maybe Trump paid TPM just for the coverage. Iâm pretty sure they could use the money.
NO ONE is steering Trump, itâs all being driven by his big mouth. The Pope could be in Times Square but someone could turn loose a cat on fire (Trump) and the cat would get the press. The list above includes no geniuses but plenty of opportunists who are willing to give up their reputation for a hefty, but temporary, paycheck.
Unorthodox approach? Heâs winging it! Heâs faking it! Heâs pulling things out his arse! He didnât have a strategy other than to be an egomaniacal billionaire bully with no REAL intention of winning the nomination who could say whatever came to his FEARLESSLY twisted and OPENLY racist, sexist, homophobic, xenophobic and sociopathic sick mind. HE HAD NO IDEA HE WOULD BE THIS âPOPULARââŚNO IDEA WHATSOEVER! He didnât PLAN this; he stumbled into it. Even he didnât understand how INSANE todayâs Republicans ARE!
What!?! You donât think the six or eight stories on the homepage about this hero to no one on the frontpage are overkill? Say it isnât so.
Right now on Trumping Point Memoâs homepage: One Nagasaki headline and nine Trump headlines , before I scroll down to the second non-Trump heading â something about John Oliver. (Edited to add ânon-â before âTrump.â Thatâs what I meant.)
Covering Trump is a lot easier than reporting about a young man being shot in Ferguson on Sunday or HRCâs plan to pay college tuition or how the Coke corporation is saying drink more Coke and exercise more to control oneâs weight, or sadly, that Frank Gifford has died.
Most excellent. Makes you wonder what the grown ups on the staff are doing.
The âWHOâ is of Trump? âWHOâ cares!
There is no such group as the âDemocrat party.â
Never has been.
That is a Republican insult, and is never used by Democrats or liberals or progressives.
Itâs the Democratic party, whose members are Democrats.
There is a difference between nouns and adjectives.
Democrat is a noun.
Democratic is an adjective.
Republican can be a noun or an adjective, depending on usage.
Such are the vagaries of English grammar.
