Discussion: Who's Behind The 'Wisconsin Poll Watcher Militia' Facebook Page?

And if he was black, the press would be all over the “New Black Panther” threat.

Microcosms of this nonsense happen all the time in online forums. RWNJ posts something ridiculous. If you ignore it, their benighted brethren accept it as fact and if you refute it, they invariably claim they were joking and trolled “the strident liberal.”

Lepperd is involved as is Chris Heather and it certainly is the same group as “Operation Burn Notice”.

And of course they call it a joke now… they’re scared. Lepperd has been doing this crap for years. His “auto repair shop” is his home garage. All these guys are barely employed, dumb and lazy.

They were serious until they got called out and now they’ve chickened out. Now they’ve created a page called “Mary Burke’s Private Poll Militia” which tries to make it seem like a group of Liberal Democrats would involve themselves with such an absurd idea.

Check this dork out:

And here’s their new page:

Report it, comment on it, tell the mislead people what’s really going on there.

Remember when the boys from Yale tried to sneak letters into Ann Landers? They seem to have found bigger game. They’re probably doing the same thing to righties, and landing on FoxNews.

Clearly we still need to work on decreasing the unemployment rate, as the Poll Watcher Militia group has waaay too much time on their hands.

Stop letting these soft terrorists off the hook. Their cabal has been all over the internet cyber-harassing and threatening Democrats.

The “only kidding” meme is a form of passive-aggressive control. These low lifes got caught, can’t take the heat and want to pretend they didn’t mean it AND it was all taken too seriously by liberals. Twofer for them. Too bad they are as obvious as a skin heads covered in swastikas.

Exactly. Even if there was no intent to carry it out, just making the suggestion that you will is going to keep some people away from the polls if they think it’s going to get them nabbed for unpaid parking tickets or missed court appearances. And that’s not a new sort of tactic. This is just a new variation on it.

what republicon runnin scared from some ignorant shit that they have done…and not takeing responsibility for it??? say it aint so…yeah wait till they try that shit and they see all those black voters showing up with their own firearms cause its their right to do so…it will be like the truckers blockin roads or blocking the border or any other idgit republiocn BS plan whine bitch moan threaten then haul ass when confronted

What is being missed in all the foofraw over the militia “threat” is that the umbrella group has taken the database of names on the Recall petitions provided by the Walker misAdministration and paired it with databases for debts, outstanding warrants, sexual predator directoriese, etc., and they are directing their followers to watch the polls for people who appear on both the Recall database and any of the other ones.

This is to harass voters, identified as likely Democrats, who may also have legal or personal issues, for the crime of exercising their right to vote.

This is extremely serious stuff. And Walker is up to his neck in it, although I am certain he will deny the same way he denies all the other malfeasance associated with positions he has held.

The militia threat is comical and foolish. The effort to target voters identified as Democrats with legal threats and uncertainty is real and sophisticated.

So, are “journalists with zero credibility” better or worse than “trolls with zero credibility”?

An anonymous person makes an idle threat, the media reports on it, then the anonymous person points the finger back at the media because they (supposedly) misunderstood him. A threat is a threat, the media will report it.

Conservatives show up at polling places in Democratic precincts, especially where many voters are non-white, and engage in intimidation tactics every election. Coming armed is just an escalation of what they already do, and given how many ammosexuals are carrying guns openly in other places, a threat to use guns at polling places has to be taken seriously.

Parents! Do you have a teenager boy in your basement who spends too many hours on the Internet? You might want to check to make sure he isn’t trolling sites like TPM, Mother Jones, or Think Progress, or, worse, creating Facebook pages to simulate his adolescent fantasies about getting back at fictional fraudulent voting based on his pathetic dependency on “conservative” websites like WND, Breitbart, and RedState or odious talk radio hosts like Rush Limbaugh. You might be able to halt the progress he is making into a thoughtless dittohead and help him become a productive member of society instead of a destructive force for willful ignorance and hate.
