Why would you even report “unverified accounts” of what happened? The twitter accounts making those assertions have no firsthand knowledge and have a vested interest in making him out as a martyr. Why are their assertions even newsworthy. Journalism and stenography are not the same thing.

Is this the guy who said he was worried because his cows were all getting lost and scattered while he was off playing rebel with the other man-children? And had a bunch of kids and foster kids (and the foster kids were taken away)? Or am mixing up different nuts?

The current word is that two were shot: LaVoy Finicum (killed) and Ryan Bundy (wounded). Brian Cavalier, a.k.a. Fluffy Unicorn, is listed as having been arrested, and seems not to have been shot in the process.

Poor, gullible LaVoy. The Bundys filled his head with dangerous and erroneous thinking, and set him on the path to his own destruction. He made his own choices, of course, and suicide by cop may have been his final choice. A sad end to a human life.
