There’s all sort of grifting occurring on the right political spectrum. Palin’s SarahPac distributes only around 5% of what she rakes in to candidates. Gingrich ran for president to increases sales of his books and videos. Put upon homophobes and Islamophobes are making a killing from GoFundMe campaigns.

May I suggest that we fight our urge to be outraged by this type of behavior and instead encourage it. Every dollar that lines the pockets of these opportunists is one less dollar that is available to fund legitimate conservative candidates.

And isn’t that a good thing?
