For the record: It is totally false to call the main stream media liberal…this past election totally failed to report on Trump while spending all their time on Clinton’s emails and the Clinton foundation.
When the big 5 media conglomerates that control just over 90% of the news that we hear and read are owned by billionaires or huge corporations, it makes no sense to continue to claim there is a liberal spin. Billionaires and big corporations are part of the right wing establishment…and along with the FBI and Steve Bannon’s team of former CIA counter espionage agents and the media roasted Clinton.
The whole email gig…come on people, it was sensationalized into something important. Colin Powell and Condi Rice both had private email server’s. Trump even right now , along with Bannon, are conducting government business on their own private email server’s in Trump tower. Where’s the outrge? Why isn’t the main stream right wing media reporting this?
Trump hasn’t paid taxes in over 18 years and dodged the draft THREE separate times…and he gets the support of the Republicans. That is amazing.
I wonder what would happen if all Americans dodged paying taxes for 18 years!

I know asking for a little logic to penetrate this mindset is wishful thinking, but I guess the thing I’d like to ask them (the younger ones, especially) is what they think all the Allied soldiers who served in WWII fought and died for.
Do they think their own grandparents were wrong?
I genuinely have little personal experience with these kinds of people, so I don’t know what their ‘talking point’ is on WWII and their own shared American part in it. And no, I really don’t want to google it. Where does this so-called ‘nationalism’ fit into a worldview that apparently would have preferred to see an avowed enemy of their country defeat their own grandparents? And how does someone who adopted the name “Tequila” buy into white supremacy? This whole thing just makes my brain hurt and my heart ache.
I’ve thought about this myself, and while I don’t know for certain what the racists in this meeting would say, here’s my guess.
My guess is that they believe that we fought Hitler in WWII not because he was a white supremacist, but because he was a GERMAN white supremacist. Since Trump is OUR white supremacist, it’s all good.
Basically, our bastard will protect us, but someone else’s bastard might hurt us.
Heard the interview with him on NPR last week. Whitefish must be more than happy that he’s moving shop to DC. Though the Flathead Valley has its share of rednecks and alt-righters, Whitefish is a resort town and certainly didn’t need someone like him being associated with it.

I always thought folks on the right and fascists frowned on homosexuality. When they are in power they pass laws and support institutions and policies i.e. expanded child tax credit and family leave for hetros only that are homophobic and praise the family. Ms. Tequila must be ready for her pink triangle.
John Roberts knows he has made a terrible mistake. Tinkering with the Voting Rights Act hasn’t been enough to end racial discrimination. He’s going to have to totally eliminate the VRA to do the job right.

And, btw, racism and bigotry is not exclusively for white people, the Japanese has a tradtion for considering themselves superior to, say, Korean and Chinese, not to mention whites…and blacks (especially).
