As annoying as she is, her song and dance routine isn’t lost on the American people. This bill gets less and less popular the more people hear what’s in it, and that even includes the diehard Trumpsters!
This bill won’t last, too top-heavy and inherently unstable. We just have to bide our time until we control government, which should be very soon.
“Look, the big priorities we had, I’ll go back, were ‘make it easy,’ ‘make it fair,’ ‘win again,’ and ‘bring it home.’ We feel like this tax legislation certainly does that.”
WTF?! This is not a set of tax reform or tax cut priorities. It’s a fucking high school cheer for the privileged rich. It should end with “Go Team!!!”
“Look, the big priorities we had, I’ll go back, were ‘make it easy,’ ‘make it fair,’ ‘win again,’ and ‘bring it home.’ We feel like this tax legislation certainly does that.”
The first two I can sorta see but I have no clue how to parse the last two “priorities” as actual things in tax legislation.
Me: I want to “win again” and “bring it home” when I file this year’s taxes.
Accountant: WTF are you talking about?
I think “win again” will be on line 42 of the 2018 form 1040. “Bring it home” is on Schedule F.

Truly what the hell is WRONG with these people to think it’s all a big joke to screw the American people like this?
I believe that a lot of them think that for some to win, others must actually lose. There is no win-win solution to anything or even a reason to try to attempt fairness. There are two opposing sides to everything and one side simply must lose, sometimes in humiliation but always by suffering in some way. There is no “American citizenry.” There’s only us and them.
I never knew that “stonewalls” was a euphemism for “bold outrageous lies”
“Look, we expect that it likely will,
certainly on the personal side, could cost the President a lot of
money,” Sanders said, making a claim for which the White House has
offered no evidence, including releasing the President’s tax returns.
