As I mentioned on a previous thread, I feel sorry for all these stupid bastards. This entire “love America” thing is a complete and total embarrassment.
Rarely has such sincere sympathy seemed so much like a punch dagger to the kidney.
How dare you, White House. Rudy loves America more than the wives and children he abandoned.
Excellent concern trolling, Mr. Earnest!
Kill him with kindness!!
Bless his heart…
I don’t feel sorry for the rightly earned scorned Guiliani has received.
“I don’t feel sorry for the rightly earned scorned Guiliani has received.”
Psssst: Neither does Josh Earnest.
“It’s sad to see when somebody who has attained a certain level of public
stature – and even admiration – tarnishes that legacy so thoroughly,”
Earnest said in a press briefing. “The truth is, I don’t take any joy
or vindication or satisfaction from that.”
Excellent smack down, done with class.
The only thing Josh Earnest left off his dagger was “bless his heart.”
Normally I’m not a big fan of passive aggression, but this is great.
I can say that I look forward to feeling even more sorry Giuliani. What a mediocrity!
But no, wait! Let’s try to imagine his funeral in NYC! The tearful men in Blue, lined up to pay their respects, while citizens of NYC line the streets, backs turned to the cops, #BlueMoon the hashtag of the hour.
It’s sobering that he’s only a year older than I am. But this fantasy will motivate me to take care of myself.
Ouch.
Family values hard at work in tha…I mean those households.
you don’t question a work of art, you just enjoy it.
Nicely done, Mr. Earnest.
It is the most awesome “Oh snap, you brung it!” comment made in such a genteel way.
[happy dance]
Well done. This can now simmer all weekend as they all try to out “luv 'Merica more” each other.
Do I wish that EVERY AMERICAN could be raised with Rudolph Giuliani’s Sicilian sense of honesty, decency and justice? Of course I do! But such utopian visions are simply not achievable in the Real World!
