Gov. Abbott knows there is no threat. He’s playing an old GOP’er game: casting himself a hero or “fighter” by defending you from something that was never going to hurt you in the first place.

I really wish the DOD would tell Texas that if they in any way whatsoever interfere with their exercises or threaten any members of this operation, that all military bases in Texas will be moved to other locations and pull all military funding from the state as a matter of national security. Don’t mess with Texas? FUCK TEXAS! (the government in Texas, of course, not most of the people).

Why would he allow the black UN helicopters to patrol the NAFTA superhighway? Why would Obummer spend all his time apologizing to ISIS? Why would he sneak into the US from Kenya and claim that he never was friends with Ben Ghazi? And wasn’t Fast and Furious just to supply guns to the illegal Mexican drug lord army he’ll use to help the US military take over Texas? And didn’t the IRS refuse to certify any Texan non-profits? And why do you think he let slip that he was going to split Texas up into 8 states when he said he had visited all 57 states? And why do you think he used layers on the PDF of his fake birth certificate, if not to confuse the governor of Texas into helplessness? And isn’t this just the first step in his long-term strategy of confiscating all guns from private, sovereign citizens? I’m glad the Texas governor is so astute, otherwise the state would be a helpless sitting duck for the incompetent mastermind of communist Kenyan colonialism/gangsterism.

I hate to sound like a nutcase, but…
Doesn’t anyone find this troubling in terms of a military overreach. They have bases to train on. We don’t need to have the military train on a massive scale, pretending that the US has been taken over by an insurgency. They are occupying vacant Walmarts and placed fake surface to air missile launchers where people can see them. Yeah, I get all the jokes about how no one wants Texas anyways, land of the ignorant and all. But if this were going on in your backyard, how would you feel?
I understand it is just a training exercise, but I don’t know that I’m comfortable with this training exercise.
