That’s too bad - Obama would be a perfect fit for the court

I hope he reconsiders, if only so we can see right-wing heads explode all over the country.

Is this within the jurisdiction of Josh’s spokesmanship? Maybe retired Barack himself will have an urge to top two branches of government some day?

Well, that and to having a strong progressive voice on the court for next 30 years or so.

“Hey Barack, can you give a brutha a back rub. I’m all stressed out from holding my tongue this morning.”

It’s safe to assume the message was approved in the Oval Office before it got released in a press briefing. The Obamas would have to move back to Washington if he were confirmed to SCOTUS, and I’m assuming Michelle would disapprove of that no matter where they settle post presidency. She wants out of the bubble and to just have a life.

Odd but true; Nino and Notorious RBG are good friends who respect each other while disagreeing with the other’s opinions. They frequently dine and vacation together, they “ring in the new year together”, and they share a love of the opera.

It’s the smell of decaying right-wing zombie flesh that turns off President Obama. And the dragging of shredded entrails, hellish moans, bile eruptions, etc., etc., etc. I don’t blame him.

How about Michelle Obama on the SCOTUS?

That would cause nationwide apoplexy … enhance the Darwinian process.

Whether he served on SCOTUS or not he would be assured of never having to listen to Clarence Thomas speak.

Right wingers would drop dead like hot pigs in a cold shower.

She wouldn’t even have to agree to the appointment— just the mere mention would invite chaos.

But the court wouldn’t be a good fit for him – would stifle him.

I haven’t seen Eustace in a while…He would have had a little better material.

The reason he doesn’t want to be a SCJ is that he fears getting Scalia’s old office. Barry can’t stand the smell of sulphur.

maybe at a later point; but not immediately after leaving the white house. he’s looking at the clintons and what they’ve been able to accumulate. the travel, the international acclaim, and most of all those big, fat paychecks.

Aw shit…that sucks. That was my post-Presidency dream position for him. I’m so sad to hear this. Let’s hope its not written in stone.
