I’ve started reading Fear, couldn’t have done it when it was published but now that moron is in deep shit, I can, and early in his admin he told Gary Cohn, the Goldman Sachs guy who was briefly an economic adviser that in order to boost the economy he wanted the government to print more money. The high finance guy had to explain to the king of debt why that wasn’t possible.

Honor, as it is understood by the Corps of Cadets, is a fundamental attribute of character. Honor is a virtue which implies loyalty and courage, truthfulness and self respect, justice and generosity. Its underlying principle is truth. It is not a complicated system of ethics, but merely “honest dealing and clean thinking.” If a cadet is true in thought, word, and deed, there is no question about his meeting the standards of the Corps. On the other hand, quibbling, evasive statements, or the use of technicalities to conceal guilt are not tolerated at West Point.

Sounds like the judge is pissed about the lawyers’ latest filing. If he takes Flynn’s word for it now that he’ll stop whining like a MAGA victim about how it was all a setup, he’s being a fool. Flynn will be back at it right after he gets the wrist slap instead of a real sentence.

I watched some of this the other day on HBO. LBJ was everything Reedy said and worse. HHH wanted to talk with him but it was time for LBJ to visit the toilet, so he invited him in while he took care of business. Cranston was great, but I couldn’t very much of it. And yes, he tormented Lady Bird almost every time he spoke to her.
