Discussion: White House Defends Ronny Jackson Against ‘Outrageous’ Claims

Well, may be dead, but not yet. Those on the “Orient Express” (aka WH), are still walking in one by one to stab the body.

You have far more confidence in the process than my cynicism will allow. This is the same Senate that has confirmed Sessions, De Vos, Pruitt and every other unqualified or corrupt nominee from DT. I think it is more credible to say they are urging Trump to pull it so they don’t have to go through the embarrassment of voting to confirm him.

On the bright side, the travelling staff and reporting pool calling Jackson “Candyman” is better than his street name, “Dr. Feelgood.”

What gets me is the WH trying to minimize the drunken behavior by suggesting it only happened on overseas trips. Um, doesn’t that make it far WORSE? If the President is in the WH, or travelling domestically, presumably there are other highly-qualified medical professionals familiar with the President and his medical history that could be called on in an instant if Jackson were incapacitated. But the only reason Jackson travels abroad with the President is to provide constant, immediate medical attention as needed – it’s quite literally the only reason he’s there. What if something happens in transit overseas? Or while sitting in AF One on the tarmac in some isolated region? Or in some hotel in a region with serious security concerns? To get fall-down, sloppy drunk on such trips really is inexcusable and potentially catastrophic, far more so than doing so in DC.

…The real question, for anyone actually interested in public policy and the welfare of veterans, is whether he has managed, say 3,000 people. Or 300. Or even 30…

…or himself…

I’ve gone ahead and sent Ronny a hat along with a stencil for the ass-tattoo he’ll soon be eligible for.

Bon voyage, schmuck.

What a fucking mess and all b/c trump wouldnt listen and then fired the person who was consulting him …trump is so out of control…

Jackson’s trouble may also signal a new front in the war inside the White House. Aides who‘ve come to realize they can’t control the president have taken to leaking negative information about advisers, Cabinet members and Cabinet nominees in hopes they can shape the president’s personnel decisions — or torpedo them entirely — through the news media.

How the hell does Sarah Huckabee Sanders think a fuchsia cocktail dress is appropriate professional attire? She looks ridiculous. I guess it matches how she sounds at least…

Refined fashion sense and matching is in the Huckabee genes.

Once again, the White House Admin is out of sync with the Prez.

Trump appears to have paved the way for Jackson to leave. In a joint news conference with French President Emmanuel Macron on Tuesday, Trump praised Jackson as a “fine man.” But he then went on and on about how he had talked to Jackson and told him that it would be okay if the White House doctor decided that all of the negative attention and stress wasn’t worth it – and withdrew his nomination. “I told Admiral Jackson just a little while ago, what do you need this for? This is a vicious group of people,” said Trump. “What do you need it for?” He added: “If I were him, I wouldn’t do it.” If that’s not an invitation to walk away, I don’t know what is.

“There is probably not a person around that has managed a department of 300,000,” she said, responding to questions about Trump’s acknowledgment on Tuesday that there were questions about whether Jackson had the experience necessary to run the VA.

So, if you can’t find a person who exactly matches these credentials, it’s okay to nominate someone who falls woefully short.
That’s kind of how people decided to vote for Trump.

It’s a qualification to get a job in the Trump administration. John Bolton had the same qualification.

Only the best people.

Videos released by White House in support of Dr. Ronny:

If Dr. Robert…er…Ronny Jackson actually goes through with the confirmation hearings/testimony, he can honestly answer that he can’t recall any of his inappropriate behavior (due to his constant alcoholic blackouts).

Just in case this nomination fails, the White House has a backup waiting in the wings:

She always dresses like a debutante.

That is a much under-appreciated movie—one of my favorites.
