I’m too young to have observed that but I’ve heard that was the case. The Bush girls were pretty off-limits, other than when they were involved in some drunken hijinks.

I was about to applaud the commenters at the Daily Caller for defending Barron and his attire, and trashing the article.
Then I read further comments about “Nobama children didn’t attend church since they are muslims”

Common decency says leave the 11 year old boy alone.
Naturally the Daily Caller doesn’t, because they haven’t any.
I also wonder if they may have run this piece specifically so that Trump could cry “victim” on behalf of his son, knowing full well that most Trump supporters won’t read the article at the Daily Caller, but instead will hear about it indirectly, and are too stupid and/or self-blindered to get anything out of this other than “the liberal lamestream media is attacking Trump’s kid.”
And nobody throws a self-pity party like the Trumps.

Um, I’m pretty sure the voting age in this country is 18 – and the same is true for military eligibility. The only thing you have to wait to do until you’re 21 is drink alcohol – the “sober” children tag?

Hey, I’m even ok with all adult children that don’t collude with enemies of the U.S. or serve as props to normalize their father’s clear instability and unfitness. Tiffany, for example, should be afforded privacy.

Yeah, Barron is the only one of the group I feel sorry for. His mother is a gold digger and made her own choice to marry a disgusting creature and then stay with him.
Poor kid had no choice in his parents. If his mother is as maternal as the press likes to play her up as, maybe he has a slim chance at being a semi normal human being. Although looking at his siblings, I would guess the chances of that are small.
Still, the kid is blameless at 11.
