So, “Islamic terrorism” is not about “Islam.” I begin to see how this works, in the new world order. We can be a “Christian nation” but not be “Christian” (see attacks on the poor, the weak, the stranger). We can call for “religious liberty” but oppose any liberty toward “religion.” You can tell he’s spent his career in the propaganda business.
This shouldn’t be surprising in the least. President Bannon sees himself as a valiant Christian Crusader carrying the cross into battle against the Mooslim infidel in a grand “Clash of Civilizations,” and he has stuffed his administration with every prominent Islamophobe nutjob that he could get his vodka-soaked paws on. These people are itchy and wet over the prospects of killing large numbers of Mooslims, and Trump voters will be cheering them on, because under the vicious Mooslim tyrant caliph Obama, Sharia law was being implemented every day from Portland Oregon to Portland Maine.
[quote]Do these people advise him, probe his thoughts on issues in meetings, flesh out the feasibility and sense of a proposed policy?

We’re talking about Trump here. I would assume that, even if they tried, thirty seconds into advising, probing, etc., he basically says, oh, look, squirrel!!!
Spicer already answered that question when he was talking about the State Department reaction to the EO ban on immigration: “I think that they should either get with the program or they can go.”
I’m sure that gentleman gets a lot of free credibility from his British accent. However, if you listen to his words, he is no better than your average Trumper.
All religions are man-made superstitious nonsense. Islam is a religion; so what? It’s just another version of the nonsense called christianity, mormonism, catholocism, et al. As long as they’re all treated with the same level of derision and disdain it’s all ok. Of course, Drumpf is clearly favoring one superstition over the rest; that’s a huge problem.
If you tally up the numbers of killings done in the name of Islam vs killings done in the name of Christianity (or in the name of western civilization) you’ll find they can’t even be put on the same graph. So Trump’s minions should be careful bandying about the word “cancer”.
