IF, that is a very big IF, the members of the Trump administration were true American citizens, they wouldn’t resist the Russia inquiry and in fact they would be supporting it and wanting to weed out and prosecute anyone who was colluding with Putin and his gang AND anyone who has a conflict of interest with the Russians!
The reason there are so many so called leaks (whistle blowers) is because they know Trump and his inner circle (Pence, Kushner, Flynn, Manafort, Case, Conway, Spicer, Wilbur Ross, Nunes, Paul Ryan, Mitch McConnell, Sessions, Ivanka, the Trump boys, and others) are TRAITORS and they worked with and continue to work with Putin to install and white nationalists (really communist) government in the US.
IMPEACH them all!

Huh? I always see Democrats on TV talking about this issue with Russia. Rep Adam Schiff is constantly shining light on inappropriate situations - most recently about Nunes’ suphoena. I have seen and heard Rep. Nanci Pelosi speak out against Trump’s shitty budget and the damage it will do to military families. Democrats held a rally 5 days ago encouraging people to continue to resist the Republican agenda.
I think the real question is, where are YOU?

Given that everything they have tried to do is diametrically opposed to the interests of American citizens, maybe being distracted from their legislative agenda is a positive thing…does not look like the “distractions” will dissipate any time soon.

Yes the Russia investigation is a distraction but a lot of this the Trump administration brought on itself.
During the election trump encouraged the WikiLeaks. His son in law Kushanka was sneaking in Russians throught the Trump toward back door. Carter Page met with a suspected Russian spy. Paul Manafort is accused of money laundering from a Party with Moscow ties. Jeff Sessions met with Russians during the Trump campaign. It seem you can’t throw a rock within the Trump administration without hitting someone that has had secret talks or ties with Russia. Where there is smoke, there is fire. The arsonist is clearly Trump.
Not only that (because an adept and savvy administration could 've found many ways to head off the questions and still carried on with the People’s business) but TRUMP is constantly causing a lot of distractions from the agenda. Like with the firing of Comey (again having to do with…you guessed it…Russia!) , the Paris agreement withdrawal, picking fights with a London mayor…all that couldve been avoided had he kept his big orange ass mouth shut.
Not that I’m complaining. I’m glad he and his feckless administration can’t get anything done. Hope it goes on for the next 3 years.

Let’s face it. Donald Trump can’t focus on anything. Well, maybe his cell phone and the multiple feuds he’s started with everyone from the French to the Pope to now the English.
He’d fit in real well with the cast of “Bachelor in Paradise.” Apparently doesn’t know he’s married among other things…and won’t let anyone even think about trash talking him. What a publicity- hungry fruitcake.

Short doesn’t say why the White House finds it hard to focus because of the Russia investigation. It’s not because everyone is busy consulting with lawyers, responding to subpoenas, preparing testimony before Congressional committees. That time may come, but it isn’t now. The real reason is that Trump is obsessed with this and lacks the self-control and maturity to compartmentalize the investigation and proceed with business. And, as a number of commentators here mentioned, he lacks the ability to focus properly on anything anyway.
