As it is people feel that the police in America are above the law.
Probably because they are. And it’s not at all difficult to collect LOTS of evidence to support this.
That’s why I didn’t feel it necessary to provide a link.
Fine; I have no problem with coming down harder on the non-white cops. But I suspect that they’re looking for a different remedy.
Q: Which of the above did Darren Wilson not receive?
A: If loosely defined? Only the medals.

Fact:The vast majority of police shootings/ beatings/illegal intimidations are NEVER prosecuted. It has to be pretty bad to get the scrutiny that is merited…case in point the unfortunate incident of the guy in NYC choked to death on camera before our eyes…no charges yet and don’t be surprised if the victim is blamed for arranging for his own death at the hands of the “good guys”
Yea the white guys have to go through an investigation that exonerates them before they can go back to killing black folks. The black guys just get to stay on the job as long as they promise to keep doing it.
We hereby DEMAND our privileged status as white men be reinstated IMMEDIATELY.
Its not that they are treated harshly but how they were treated in comparison to other officers, is it not?
Am I the only one who see a connection between the GOP war on the government and the nations movement to where we are today? It is almost like there is open hunting season on black men. If these recent cop/citizen shootings were of white men I wonder if any of the conversations we are having would sound the same?
Time for some black cops to start shooting white people and then let’s see what happens.
Yah let’s try this…let’s have black cops in charge of policing South Boston or Sanibel Island and let’s see how my fellow whities react.
Nah - Chief Justice Roberts is right and so connected to life on the streets…there’s no more racism in America or the need for a voting rights act!
Yah right…Justice Roberts and his 4 neo-con buddies on the court are so out of touch with the real America it’s like they are from the moon.
I would think it isn’t the comparison to other police officer but rather the general public. If a civilian commits murder they are caught charged and tried. In the case of a police officer they’re put on administrative leave (desk job … but they’re still paid). Maybe they’re indicted but rarely are police ever charged and convicted when they use lethal force. Situations in which an officer uses lethal force is seen as part of their job by the courts. Civilians are held to a very different set of rules depending on which state they live in.
The technology is advanced enough to now identify location as well as time. It should be available/searchable to time if the conduct under official capacity is in question.
I believe I saw murder done in the video.
