The hits will keep on coming.
But never soon enough.
Pence - “it’s insulting to even suggest anyone from the campaign talked to any Russians”
Little late with the whistle there but I’ll take it!
This is getting closer to what we’ll see when the big shoe finally drops: Money.
What kind of money was the Trump family sucking up, or were promised, via these transactions?
Money. Money. Money.
Flynn’s actions seem pretty damn close to treason IMHO. LOCK HIM UP. . . LOCK HIM UP.
I think we all know he’s guilty. Hell, he’s already plead guilty. I, for one, am happy to wait until the trial when Flynn will almost certainly tell stories of bad behavior on the part of multiple people in the Trump administration that will shock nearly all of us. Until then rest assured, these teases we’re hearing are only scratch the surface of what really happened, I guarantee it.
“We’re in the money! We’re in the money!”
Greed will take you down every time.
Gutting those sanctions were mentioned last yr.
Use the T word. These “people” are dirty traitors. We should bring back the death penalty for treason…
It is chilling to read that they planned to put U.S. military in place to protect their assets. I thought the Bush administration treated the military like men on a gaming board, but that is … I lack a word for it.
It isn’t currently available? Damn.
Well, on the bright side… I don’t think Widdle Donnie Two-Scoops will much enjoy the accommodations at Chez Gray Bar in Leavenworth - and I don’t believe he’ll be able to send out for Big Macs. Sad!
To me, “whistleblower” implies someone who at personal risk voluntarily exposes an organization’s dirty secrets. If you’re only talking because they have your ah - hand - in a vise, that’s something else.
Some would argue that’s the only function the U. S. military serves.
Does everyone remember the hand rubbing greed that was going on prior to the start of the Iraq war? Halliburton, the Carlyle Group, KBR, Blackwater - the absolute glee with which certain people were anticipating big profits from the war was well documented, including some jaw-dropping quotes in Michael Moore’s Fahrenheit 9/11. A lot of people got filthy rich, and a lot of filthy rich people (like Dick Cheney) got filthier and richer. The Trump election brought on the exact same response - and here we are - Corporate tax cuts bigger than what was requested by the corporations and a trillion and a half dollar treasury raid to procure walking around money for people so rich we can’t actually comprehend it.
The plan is working to perfection.
Thanks for that.
I was aware of that bit of law… I wondered if there’s been some thing where the Federal Government had been prohibited from seeking the Death Penalty in a prosecution. I know that we have not sought that penalty in any of the relatively recent high profile espionage cases. And, there’s some kind of notion, I think, that we only seek the death penalty during times of war… and I have argued in this forum that we are, by nature of Russia’s blatant acts, in fact, in a state of war with Russia.
As a practical matter, I don’t care too much, hanging, firing squad, or rotting away in a Federal “Pound-Me-In-The-Ass” prison for the rest of their days… I could be satisfied with any of those outcomes.
Cummings said. “The integrity of this Committee’s work will be questioned, and the credibility of its investigations will be severely degraded.”
He had to put it into a letter, because it was impossible to say it in person without laughing or vomiting.
Can agree, as much as I support a strong military, have hated it being used as a negotiating piece. but this is a step beyond I think.
Pence today: “I was in the dark and I am ready to take my oath of office now”
