A close friendâs father was in Italy when Mussolini was caught trying to escape with his mistress. His shooting and corpse abuse raised little ire or shock in Naples, where my friendâs father was working. Most people denied they had anything to do with Fascism, and otherwise it was just kind of a normal day. I suspect that outside the beltway, the removal of Trump will not bring parties in the streets so much as a general sigh of relief. All of your GOP neighbors will deny they were ever Trumpsters.

I find it hard to believe Trump and his attorneys didnât know that in time this was going to happen. Theyâve had near 2 years to prep their response and look what theyâve put out. Trumpâs goofy inane tweets. Thatâs it. Thereâs a lot more to come. Right now Trump Et al dare not say anything out of fear of that.
