Discussion: WH: Trump Only 'Complimentary' To Australian PM On Universal Health Care

I don’t worry. He’s just “pivoting.”

I appreciate the joke. But instead of being an alternative fact, it was an unintended truth. Trump may have thought he was just bullshitting as usual (and as usual could not remember his honored guest’s name), but Australia does have better healthcare than we do. And if the AHCA is adopted, it and most of the rest of the world will have far, far better healthcare than we do.

WHO KNEW??

I visited Australia in 1989 and thoroughly enjoyed myself. Sydney, Perth and points in between. I flew Quantas from Sydney to Perth. None of this penny ante tiny 12 ounce beer can stuff, oh no. I ordered a beer and was handed 2 X 750ml cans. In American measurements that;'s approximately a quart and a half. I was a happy customer. Took the train back to Sydney.

There’s no ral reason Medicare cannot be expanded to everyone. It’s just that GOPers want to live in a cave and play with their beta max tape players.
After all, what is the meaning of conservative? The conservatives we have elected ant things the way they were in some fantasy America. Conservative should mean keeping things as they are. In truth these people want things far worse. The rich get a mondo tax break and everyone else gets screwed.

Obama tried to get everyone health insurance
The GOP wants to take it away or failing that to make it utterly worthless.

“we’re are focused on putting a health care plan in place that works here.” Yeah, there’s some of your universal batsheit right there…

And so I have to ask, “health care that works here…” for who exactly? Aside from the wealthiest citizens of our country? And the corporations skimming profit off our misery? Oh, no one! Right…

Trump played doublespeak the other day with his “lower premiums” nonsense, which was doublespeak for “cutting coverage in exchange for lower premiums”…

He thinks we’re stupid. And he’s right, at least regarding the 30% or so of the country who still think he’s the cat’s meow.

When will he just retire and put us all out of his misery?

Okay, I get it. We’re not supposed to take Trump’s word on anything until 48 hours after he says it. This is because the president is stupid and his comments have to be vetted by adults.

Okay, that’s fine. But where are the adults?

George Will wrote a column at WaPo about PP’s deficiencies and also spoke to Lawrence O’Donnell on his program about. Didn’t try to play mental health professional, but concluded something is most def wrong with him based on speech patterns, drifting away from one thought in the middle, going to another unrelated thought, etc. I’m not afraid to say it. The so called president is nuts. And we can thank 77,000-plus people for his so called victory.

“I shouldn’t say this to our great gentleman and my friend from Australia, because you have better health care than we do.”

Hey dumb ass, Australia doesn’t masquerade health care as a tax cut for rich people.

Some orangutans need brain transplants. I hope none of them accidentally end up with Trump’s.

WH, absolutely DT was simply being ‘complimentary’, very similar to a grope, a grab, or serving white & pink sugar-coated rat turds.

Australia has universal health care. We have representative Raul Labrador.
