So veto it. That’s how the system works. Let’s pull everybody out into the light, make em stand up and be counted, literally. Then you guys can veto it and we’ll see you in court.

I look at that “threat” as a promise. From us…

To get on record every would-be fascist in Congress.

The Heads of the Military and the Intelligence Community should be brought forward to the House to weigh in on Trump’s “Emergency”…with ample opportunity for GOP toads to go against these professionals.

Gohmert!!! Now’s your chance to show your intel chops!!!

What Trump has not thought about is that walls can be taken down, too.

"In a statement on Tuesday, the administration said it “strongly opposes” the resolution and reiterated its ongoing stance that there is a “humanitarian and security crisis” at the border that “threatens core national security interests and constitutes a national emergency.”

“If (the resolution) were presented to the President in its current form, his advisors would recommend that he veto it,” the statement said.

And Miller n others.

Though the GOP (legislative) abdication still interests me, I’m only interested in two things : who’s initially saying no to this? and will they they still say no after its vetoed?

At last check, the devil can always wait.

Anyone want to bet that Don the Con cannot even correctly spell veto? I’m surprised he can pronounce it. Speaking of which, has anyone seen his wife, ol’ “Be Best, Although I Really Don’t Care, Do U?” herself lately?

Part of McConnell’s genius is that he’s helped GOP Senators avoid having to go on the record with votes, because unpopular votes are so easily weaponized in the political arena. He has aggressively shielded members of his party, minimizing their exposure.

I think this is also one of the trends that has led to expanded Executive power: with Congress increasingly reluctant to do anything for fear of alienating voters (or exposing their true positions), those responsibilities get offloaded onto a single person who then takes one for the team.

I’ve wondered where the wifey has gotten to myself. She is the most MIA first spouse ever.

The GOP legislative abdication interests me with regard to its longevity.

Trump is a pimp.

There is something besides the Base making these men act the way they do. They went from “never Trump” to “always Treason”. I’ve heard of “winning personalities” but the Base is not calling all the shots on this one.

Mueller World to Earth:

I can go on…names like Trump Org’s personal accountant, the Nat. Enquirer Man, Felix Sater, Maria Butina and many many more…

And we are supposed to believe that none of these investigations have the least to do with a GOP Senate which has been a group of the most browbeaten and subservient Republican politicians in decades…

yes, his team of deep-thinking advisors would talk this over with 45* and make a recommendation
