Schumer going by the “Republican Rule”…
And let’s not forget the past 8 years! Hypocrites!
Notice how spiceman in the picture is gesturing with his hands just like trump does?
Accusing the other side for what they do – they always do this. And frankly I sincerely don’t get (1) why some democrats still seem to be looking for “safe” cabinet nominees to vote for and (2) why nearly half of the voters don’t see what those hypocrites are doing and keep rewarding them.
Even a basic sense of fairness is no longer a common denominator. Really sickening.
I am with you 100 percent!
Hold on trying to work upon a tear . . . . nope nothing.
Can’t we all just get along …
Wasn’t it something like NINE MONTHS that Loretta Lynch had to wait around before being confirmed? These liars.
One would hope so. I somehow doubt he has the spine to go the distance.
McTurtle: Its not our fault that Hussein is a Black Muslim.
Turtle: And Kenyan.
Democrats are giving Senator Schumer a 100 percent approval if he really is stalling Trump’s nominees. Republicans did it to President Obama for 8 years.
So, what? Just following the example set by the Republicans.
I think there is a feeling among some Democrats that if they act like Republicans–obstructing absolutely everything–then government as we know it devolves into meaningless chaos. And then they’re just as bad as the Rs. So, by finding a few cabinet nominees to vote for they have a claim to principled opposition.
Also, Democrats generally do actually care about the welfare of the citizens, country and planet and are practicing harm reduction
The only appropriate response is mockery. Poor little snowflakes–it isn’t very PC to ask questions, is it? I thought you guys liked to have things shaken up. Sad!
You know, all I think about when looking at poor Sean is sticking some sort of tiny probe into the strange, deep cleft under his nose to measure how deep it is, clearly it isn’t a straight through or we’d see light…
What goes around comes around. Ain’t Karma a biach? Stop whining!
He darn well should.
Spicer is correct or mostly correct. He should be stalling, delaying, and voting no on all of them. As for that great question on Schumer and SCOTUS nom, admin doesn’t need Schumer to support. It should, though, and would if the Dems agreed to vote no, despite loss of 60-vote cloture rule. It can always be reinstated.
well it is Schumer
The ‘genie is out of the bottle’, if the nuclear option is in play and it would be hard to go back to a pre N-O environment.
- any past history that involved the option would have to be forgotten. In the past, who knows…
now? in this current environment?, umm no.
Old hurts do die hard.
- There will likely be another minority president within eight years, possibly even quicker. What happened to the last minority president who faced senate hurdles?
