I think the tweet was to mask trading done by those he directly gave specific information to. This way their trades get lost in the flurry of trades due to the tweet.

  1. Lift travel and banking sanctions on Russian oligarchs (We were too harsh)
  2. Change banking regulations to facilitate money laundering and tax evasion. (Hey, those rules are too onerous and stifle investment)
  3. Photo-ops for Russian prostitutes, er, I mean the Russian delegation of international out-reach volunteers, frolicking on the Oval office carpet.

I’d sure love to see a version of “Question Time” instituted here in the US, where POTUS would have to submit to questions from Congress as a condition of his remaining in office. THEN you could land some punches on Fat Nixon on camera, there would be no evading having to account for some of these outrages. There is zero personal accountability right now because he never has a news conference, never has any interactions except with his cultists on Twitter.
