You remember, back when Donald Trump was doing clownish cartwheels through the campaign world but not really being taken seriously by anyone.

The story is that he’d call on several states to activate National Guard. Participation is dependent on Governors discretion. What wasn’t mentioned is whether D.C. Guard would participate. DC guard is commanded by Trump.

I’m trying to be careful here, but will Trump consider the DC Guard his own “troops” to use at his discretion for anything from rounding up immigrants to maybe other nefarious purposes? At what point does the 25th Amendment or other “remedy” come into play? This is beyond frightening.
