pretty non-substantive conversation

This part I believe, pretty much in general.

More specifically, "WH WON’T Say Whether Trump Asked Acting FBI Director About His Vote

“I wasn’t in the room, I don’t know what was discussed,”

This has to be the first time in recorded history that SHS has not commented on an issue simply because she wasn’t in the room and didn’t know what was discussed.

“I don’t know, I ask people who they vote for sometimes,” Romney McDaniel said.

And the situational context is identical so your experience is determinative.

All I want to know is if Trump tried to rip McCabe’s arm out of its socket when they shook hands.

Secret ballot. Private, single person’s voting booths. Do you get the ‘picture’ President Dotard?

“I wasn’t in the room, I don’t know what was discussed,” she said at a press briefing Wednesday. “I know he didn’t ask me. I can tell you that.”

President Trump doesn’t care who you voted for because 1) you are a woman 2) who works for him and 3) are unable to harm him.

“Look, the President and Andrew McCabe have had limited and pretty non-substantive conversations,” she said. “I can’t get into the details of what was discussed. I wasn’t there.”

That is an easy one, this §resident had no substantive conversations.

And I see Saunders is stepping into to Sgt. Schulz territory. I see nothing, I know nothing!

“I don’t know, I ask people who they vote for
sometimes,” McDaniel said. “I think it’s just trying to get to know
somebody, I don’t think the intentions are as bad as are being put out.”

Things Republicans suddenly fail to understand that the rest of us do.

Context
1: the parts of a discourse that surround a word or passage and can throw light on its meaning
2: the interrelated conditions in which something exists or occurs : environment, setting

It’s noticeable that, if she did talk to Michael Wolff, it’s not recorded in his book.

Sorry, Sarah, you can’t have it both ways. If you weren’t there and can’t speak to the specific question, how can you then state unequivocally that they have had limited and non-substantive conversations???

“I can’t get into the details of what was discussed I’ve no intention of blurting out the truth. I wasn’t there
I was helping Nunes write a memo. There are widespread reports of his retirement We threatened his wife and children. We’re making sure that we’re focused on the FBI and DOJ serving all Americans fairly and efficiently We’re packing law enforcement with boot-licking toadies as fast as we can. And we’re going to move forward from there And if necessary, we’ll arrest Mueller.”

Fixed.

I’m surprised she didn’t use the fall back
“I haven’t discussed that with the President” for every question about President Shithole she doesn’t want to answer

Well to be fair to SHS, I don’t think she was as high up on the food chain back then. I think she was still practicing hiding in bushes, trying to figure out how to do her hair, and perfecting her condescending tone.

It’s just another eternal mystery, like whether the earth is spherical or flat, or whether Trump is racist.

Just guessing, but probably part of the job of a press secretary and staff is to come up with probable questions based on what’s in the news and come up with answers to them. That is obvious with most of Hucksterbee’s lies and diversions and claims (like she’s an authority about what Americans care about, etc.) No doubt they dealt with this one and decided that “she wasn’t there” was the answer.

She is the press secretary. She is usually not there, but is expected to have answers to questions about whatever is newsworthy.

Everything to her and this administration is pure public relations spin. The reporters at these pointless exercises should get together and press her like the BBC would, and do repeated followups to other reporter’s questions and generally hold her feet to the fire for once. Risk their access until only Fox News and Breitbart are there and no one else reports their ridiculous spin and lies about everything.

That’s one hell of a qualifying clause :smirk:

Anybody else? You over there, did he ask you who you voted for?
