Not early enough!

Trump’s razor 1: Purge Christie and his allies (like Mike Rogers) when the media is paying attention to the transition to maximize the public humiliation of being fired by Trump’s inner circle.

Trump’s razor 2: Keep Kushner close to the inner circle and to keep the children looped in.

When you criticize the press, the way the Trump camp has done, you shouldn’t be surprised when they work night and day to hold your chestnuts to the fire. Hope to see a lot more of this.

The President’s power to pardon is plenary. A President has never tried to pardon himself. It’s a hell of a debate if he can. And if Bannon or Conway are found guilty of Federal Election Law, what if he just pardons them? Would you expect any response from Republicans (save, perhaps, Jeff Flake and Lindsay Graham) denouncing that action? I would not bet a thin dime on Republicans doing anything but slipping on knee pads for the next four years.

Yeah, that was my response, too. The only thing that will remove anyone from the Drumpf team will be either jail or death.

Rules are for losers. Trump will never let go of his cuddly Nazi-bud.

If you please, Natural Resources Defense Council. Thanks. Want those donations to go to the right place.

I hope they save enough money to payoff James Comey for playing his role in this rigged election so well.

Sounds like she’s not all that popular.

I wonder if she’s had Netanyahu for dinner lately.

Oh, it’s Republican all right, but it goes back a few years …

Absolutely. It was Nixon and the era around him that made Thompson’s writing. Even he couldn’t reallyreplicate it after Nixon’s end. The best thing he wrote in later years was Nixon’s obituary.

So on the bright side, maybe a Trump presidency is just the catalyst needed for at least one HST-like writer.

Short answer: Yes!

They have financially backed Breitbart since Bannon took control of it. The Mercers have supported, and perhaps encouraged, Breitbart’s attacks on the “establishment Republicans”. A Politico article this summer suggested that they wish to be kingmakers in a reconstituted, populist-nationalist GOP. To that end, they have supported Senator Sessions political career with $$. It is more than coincidence that Bannon, Conway and Sessions have been key players in Trump’s general election campaign, influence his transition team, and will have important roles in his administration.

If there is a jugular to find, this is probably it.

Bummer is we’re still waiting for the indictments of past administrations.
