Santorum cleanup in isle 3. Send in a Fox faux blonde to lap it up.
She sounds just like the FOX News Geezer that McCain snatched the microphone away from in 2008,though I doubt even heâd do that again. I hear more and more of those Geezers and some slightly younger ones saying the same crap daily out in the real world. I just shake my head and do all that I can do to beat them in the voting booths.
but even worse is that lindsey graham has essentially endorsed that particular bit of insanity⌠and heâs a member of the senate armed services cmte.
Somebody has ripped off the plot of a 1983 television movie called Special Bulletin.
.
Rock Ridge still doesnât like Sheriff BartâŚ'cause heâs âNeeeeeerâ.
I believe you mean "niCLANG!.
.
Crazy and age are independent characteristics. I have young family in-laws who are Fox addicts while I, the "geezerâ at 65, am the leftist in the family.
Bullshit thatâs unopposed and uncriticized doesnât wither; it grows and metastasizes. One of the worst mistakes that corporations and organizations of any type can make is assuming that ignoring lies will make them go away, and the same is the case for politics. Rush Limbaugh was virtually unopposed and unattacked by the Democratic Party for well over a decade, and did that make his ideas any less âlegitimateâ? Oddly enough, once an organized group decided to go after himâthe so-called âFlush Rushâ campaignâhis sponsors started disappearing in droves.
Youâre also ignoring the purely strategic aspect of openly criticizing Santorum on this crap. If Nancy Pelosi or Howard Dean or Elizabeth Warren went after Santorum, heâd have to respond. If he acknowledges that his audience was asserting lies and horseshit, itâs conducive to discord and disconnect between the GOP and its nutty base. If Santorum refuses to criticize the lunacy, then it helps to cement the point that the Republican Partyâs elected politicians are completely fucking nuts. Either is good for the Democratic Party.
The Republican Party has been a target-rich environment for well over 15 years, and itâs long past time that the Democratic Party starts going after its weak points.
But youâre not a âFOX News Geezerâ. Iâm 56,closing in on 57. Iâm closer to âGeezerâ than âyoungâ.
Snopes has the full run down on the source of the âObama nukes Charlestonâ lunacy. It was started by the BSC political conspiracy site âWhat Does It Mean:â
It is very scary that a former SC school teacher would buy into this craziness. It is even more scary that Santorum wouldnât challenge it.
Interestingly, there was a 1983 made-for-TV movie entitled âSpecial Bulletinâ about a radical anti-nuclear terrorist group that snuck a home-made nuke hidden on a tugboat into Charleston harbor in an attempt to blackmail the US into dismantling its nuclear weapons.
I kinda agree with the nuke deal.
As long as this wackjob lady is strapped to it and any spawn she might have spit out.
Allegedly, this woman is a retired teacher. If so, it must have been for a Klan sponsored school. Santorum being his usual chicken sh*t self did not cut the hillbilly off.
Iâm familiar with Flush Rush-- Iâve signed their petitions matter-of-fact.
But no-- they are NOT politicians. Iâm making that distinction.
My point is that (D) politicians need not respond to horsesh^t claims.
THAT would legitimize those claims to the tinfoil-hat crowd.
Politically-connected orgs OTOH?
Thatâs where your complaint should lay.
That should be a mission in fact.
To be honest? If a PAC wanted to foot my bills for a year or two?
Iâd do it in a heartbeat. Iâve got all the IT skills and web admin experience required.
Iâd find the writing talent.
Hell. Much of it could be hired on from this community.
But no. BSD. (D) Pols themselves need only respond to claims by other sitting pols.
Your point may be spot-on-- in that respect.
What you wish from (D) pols would be an MSM field-day 24/7/365â
with E!-like pronouncements countering TMZ-like claims and counterclaims.
Itâs hard enough to keep the cameras and mics from being stuck
in the faces of RWNJs when theyâre simply making sh^t up.
What do you think would happen with finger-pointing in both directions?
The word âexponentialâ comes to mind.
Conjoined to your term âbullsh^tâ.

âWe will never have the elite, smart people on our side.â
â Rick Santorum, September 15, 2012
And he demonstrated this quite spectacularly in Charleston SC (home of the Civil War) at the South Carolina National Security Action Summit organized by Frank Gaffney (noted Islamophobe and conspiracy theorist) and Breitbart News (noted dead conspiracy theorist non-news site). Sandtorumâs anti-intellectualism reached a new low when he pandered to a baseless conspiracy theory about a fictional attempt to nuke Charleston.
Anti-intellectualism is rampant in the Tea Party on a level not seen since the book-burnings in Germany of the 1930s, and Rick Santorum is its leading spokesman.

This is prime example when you fed bigotry, racism, hate 24 hours a day.
All he disagreed with was her saying he was in the Senate.
Heâs not a citizen. He couldâve been removed a long time ago
The rest of his reply was an anthem to hate and pandering of the worst kind. He couldâve said, âLady, he was born in America, heâs not a foreigner who needs to be kicked out.â What she said was so very difficult to listen to, and he wants a career more than he wants to defend his president.
Is it the water down there? Iâm beginning to think so.
She said right it at the top
Senator Santorum, thank you for being here. Iâm Virginia Eleasor, a retired schoolteacher, lifelong political activist, and lifelong resident of South Carolina.
Its the Code of The Grifters: Lie down with dogs, rise up with fleece.
WowâŚI just donât know whoâs crazierâŚObama for trying to nuke Charleston or her for saying he did.
âYou all know what he is, and I know what he is.â
I am now accepting donations for the purchase of a new Teatroll Rosetta Stone. The one I had just melted.
