Does anyone truly believe Trump relishes spending the next 4 years of his life, beginning very near his 70th birthday, tied down to the very difficult, very taxing, extremely problematic and frustrating job of being President? Could he even stagger to the finish line in January of 2021?

Anecdotally as a Bay Area native myself, I’m not seeing anything like that. My (sane) Bernie supporter FB friends have actually been quieter lately, and I was just at Maker Faire on the weekend, and while there was definitely a Sanders presence, it was a lot less than I had expected for that crowd. Of course, YMMV but I’m not expecting anything other than a solid Hillary win.

thanks trustbutverify - I seem to be the go-to person for my west coast friends who can’t sleep as they know I’ll be up early here on the east coast.
I’m also seeing people who supported Bernie quieting down and committing to voting for HRC in the fall. Was just astounded to hear that recent polling has them neck in neck!

That’s what VPs are supposed to do. Haven’t you heard? His job will be how to finagle gov’t contracts to benefit his business operations somehow, either while in the WH or as soon as he leaves office. We still haven’t heard one word of how he’ll wrap up or put his business dealings in abeyance if he becomes President, have we? I’d be curious to know how that’s supposed to work. And we still don’t know what his actual assets and holdings are beyond those that use the tRump brand in the form of a marketing scam. Gee, I wonder what could help the country know what that might be? Oh yeah, he could show us his tax returns, which would lay out his assets and holdings…but I guess that’s not gonna happen either. The man is a complete walking talking fraudster and charlatan.
Between you, srfromgr, and eustace up there in #2 spot, we practically have a Trump speech-writing team. (Or maybe a Sen. Hatch op-ed writing team.)
Unfortunately, Mr. Trump almost never plans in advance what he is going to say. And by “advance” I mean the time it takes his neurons to go from his brain to his mouth.

I don’t have any special wisdom nor is my ear particularly close to the ground, but I will say this. San Francisco’s Representative is Clinton’s ally Pelosi who is very thoroughly connected to the City’s power players including the Gettys and the Newsoms and they will turn out in any way they can for Clinton. That includes serious money.
