I can’t wait to start Winning With Infrastructure. Privatization, Corporate Handouts, garbage like Gov. Goodhairs Tacoma-Narrows-Bridge -Inland public-private toll road, no jobs to speak of, red flag for the Freedom Caucus. No wonder he wants to bury it.

I also heard that! Bringing back coal jobs was finally deemed a no-winner, so trump is bringing back AMC instead. Gremlins for everybody! For you! And you! And you! (I also heard Oprah will market it)

What strikes me about all this is that it really doesn’t do all that much. To wit:
KENOSHA, Wis. — President Trump — hammering his “America First” campaign theme after recent policy flip-flops that have infuriated his populist base — signed an executive order on Tuesday authorizing studies and tweaks in government rules that could lead to restrictions on foreign technical workers.
Mr. Trump said the order, signed at the sprawling Snap-on tool factory in Kenosha, Wis., was a way to “restore the American dream” and a means to end the “theft of American prosperity,” which he said had been brought on by low-wage immigrant labor.
The order calls for a series of relatively modest steps, including a multiagency report on changes needed for the H-1B visa program, under which the government admits 85,000 foreign workers annually, many of them in the high-tech, industrial, medical and science fields.
So, nothing concrete-- just modest steps, including a multiagency report that will take at least a year, if not longer, to complete. No real jobs program that would actually do something for displaced workers. Donnie is once again all

Because an out of work blue collar worker from a production line will just walk straight into a coding job that was previously “stolen” by an Indian guy who actually got his MCS and is here on an H-1B.
Wait a minute, Trump killed the TPP which would have allowed US dairy to be sold to Canada, now he’s complaining about the unfair dairy trade situation with Canada?
Which is sad, because they used to produce damn fine stuff.
Totally agree that Chinese-made [USA! USA!] steel is the very bestest for your Trump Tower needs and for all American-sourced-only environmental disaster pipelines.

I see where you’re coming from with that. But the employees have no choice who’s invited by management to pontificate before them. This is the new GOP model, of addressing only pre-screened audiences, or controlled groups like military units or employees who are given absolutely no chance of protesting or making their views known.
Requiring “captive” audiences like this is the mark of cowards like Mr. D.ump and Wisconsin Governor Scotty “Wanker” Walker [R].

His are not well-paid clappers, though. He might consider hiring undocumented immigrants, who have strong stomachs and are willing to applaud vigorously after nonsense for less.

And why no Trump love for the displaced workers from the whale-oil & lamp industry? That electrification really hurt! Damn that Thomas Edison!! Where’s the love for Ahab, Ishmael and the guys?
