I wonder…does trump know who has control of government spending? Welp, it ain’t the President. Paul Ryan is having a seizure right about now I expect and Reince Priebus might be seen pounding his head on his desk presently.
Teachers will have to get in line after all the vets he’s sending to private doctors and hospitals and promising that the government will pick up the tab.
Teachers are against merit pay…but you know…who cares what they think?
20 Billion sounds nice until you take into account that 20 Billion is like what… 3 - 4 percent of what we pay for schools each year, and 1 time 3 percent additional isn’t going to fix the issues.
See? Trump is approaching “governing” like he is a CEO and America is a for profit corporation.
But he won’t be and we aren’t.

I worked for the federal government for 25 years, last six years in DC. We all know government budgets and funding are extremely complex processes. I don’t think Trump could ever comprehend it, or have the patience to endure it.
And still, he is never asked the logical follow-up question of how he expects to pay for that while lowering taxes . . . . I know I shouldn’t even consider the possibility that a member of the media might ask that.
So my question is…where does he think he’s gonna find 20 billion to do anything without going thru the appropriation process? The House of Representatives controls the purse strings. trump doesn’t seem to get the point at all. This would be comical if it weren’t so frigging serious,
