At first glance, this is an O.M.G. statistic. At second glance too. However, of all polled, ā24 percent of Americans think the presidentās decision to order the airstrikes was consistent with his previous statements about Syria.ā which is the proper lower quarter of truly ignorant people.
The funny part is that of these 24% ignorants, almost all would have had to vote for Trump to get the 49% of Trump voters who think this is consistent with past Trump statements, assuming Dems and Repubs were split about evenly in the poll.
