Haley is speaking right now - talking too fast, somewhat repetitive vocabulary (30 “importants” at least) with lots of praise for how the UN is better than ever before (?) under this administration. I’ve listened to those who praise her as highly competent and suited to her role, but I just don’t see that. My grade for her performance would be a C.
I hope someone asks about this:
WASHINGTON
They were expecting extensive visitor logs from President Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago resort. Instead, government watchdog groups got a list of 22 Japanese officials who had joined their country’s prime minister at the property during a February trip.
Several groups including the Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington had sued the administration and were expecting to receive the records Friday.
But Justice Department officials say the remaining records relate to the president’s schedule and are therefore exempt from public records laws.
CREW Executive Director Noah Bookbinder describes the move as “spitting in the eye of transparency.”

Hellacious easier to listen to than Saunders though!
point taken.
Geez . . . Haley just said that Trump “hugs the right people and slaps the right people.” What??? No smart politician uses phrases such as “the right people.” She was trying to defend Trump’s behavior with certain groups and what message it sends, but come on . . . .
I may not get the universal agreement and praise I so desperately want by saying this, but I do think there are a few reasonably well-intentioned people who joined this administration thinking maybe they could make things a little better. But I also think being in that situation would tremendously downgrade your own performance because you’d have to cater to all the nonsensical and worse stuff and just try to deal with it day to day. Your stomach would always be in a knot, and you’d be plagued by doubt all the time. It’s not going to be anybody’s career high. What the right choice is for the kind of person I’m describing here is a harder question than I can answer, because I do want people with a modicum of integrity in there trying to stave off disaster.
Well, there you go.

[/quote]That’s a really valid consideration. Today, Haley did seem like the need to dance around questions and try to explain Trump’s words and erratic behavior had taken a toll on her.
Yeah well I rather think smart politicians would avoid talking about slapping anyone - right people or not.
However, it is ironic that Donnie Scoops is reportedly yukking it up with Dems and skewering GOPers.
Indeed it is. I wonder how long this will last?
Some day there will be cure for PhutnMothis disease.
This has nothing to do with this story other than its about SHS’s looks which is verboten, but her facial and mouth expressions just drive me nuts. It’s hard enough for me to ignore that backwoods Arkansas accent but that face! and she always wears a tent dress. Shame on me for doing that but I feel better now to get it off my chest.
As long as we’re able to manipulate the idiot.
It could last awhile then.
Totally agree. Right there with you.
You have my individual agreement and praise. I am sure there are some even though they probably voted for him so… but in theory and probably reality, yes.
hahahahahaha! (I’m not usually an ends justify the means sort of person, but I will make an exception for Donnie Two Scoops. Oh, and if he says Crooked Hillary one more time, I’m going to start calling him Fat Donnie Two Scoops.)
hahahahahaha Fat Donny - I like it. I think I’ll steal it. You can put two scoops on it to make it yours.
