Beautiful speech. And I can see why he was late. He and his wife knew these people personally.

I despise Obama. All he does is open his big mouth and lie, a stinking coward. And, he will interfere with the broadcast of “The Price Is Right”! Now if that isn’t unpatriotic, I don’t know what is.
Obama just finished speaking at 12:30 Eastern time …9:30 where I am.
And once again he showed himself to be the adult in the room.
But I expect someone, on Fox probably, will find some twisted way to blame him.
He spoke eloquently on the need to address gun violence. And hatred.
You could see the anger in his disappointment that gun control can’t be addressed by Congress as it should be because of “politics in this town”. He said no other advanced country has this level of gun violence and that eventually we will have to “come to grips” about it. I am very glad he’s POTUS and not some repub knucklehead.

Some times one needs to compose one’s self to speak publicly about the sudden death of a friend. Obama was friends with Pickney. And maybe he was getting updates? It’s not like he’s got nothing to do.
It was heart wrenching. OmAhHum better be snarking otherwise flag it’s ass and get it out of here

I flag when a post is egregious. That post was very close to my standard but I wasn’t sure if it was snark or not. I admit to not being able to tell sometimes. Just like I mostly miss sarcasm cuz this medium has no voice inflection.
So, I erred on the side of caution.
