Ha. Yeah Pence knows at some point Repub leaders (i.e. The Brothers Koch) will decide the brand has undergone enough lasting damage (how’re we not there already you may ask - fair point) and the roller-coaster-ride-from-hell with the maliciously-deranged madman at the helm will stop, at which point he’ll be sitting pretty. Until then, he’s just hanging on for dear life.
Drain the swamp. The laughs on us, isn’t it Trump? Trump had no connection to the people he picked to fill his cabinet seats before the election. But they were very connected to Russia. He drained the swamp all right. The swamp was in Russian and he brought what he found here. And the Republicans just keep moving forward like nothing is wrong. And the more they do, the more they connect themselves with the stink. Trump is a flim flam man, nothing more. And he’s making money right and left in his position. Disgusting.

I must disagree. I saw a snippit of the speech. He was glued to his teleprompter like it was a life preserver in a raging storm. In some quarters the speech was seen as a joke. Giving him credit for the basics is nonsense. The Presidency isn’t about basics and learning curves. He spoke of the dead having emotions. He has created an office in Homeland Security designed for xenophobia export. He expects to get billions for the military and to gut the State department. The speech was BS in my estimation. But the pundits will commit false equivalency. They always do.

If the buck stops with Trump then he is the leader of the swamp. And he truly is.

He forgot to tell you a pack of wolves was just released in the hen house. Trump drained the swamp into the White House swimming pool so he’ll be able to guard that more closely. It’s all about the hens and the leaky swamp I understand.
