Trying to unpack your logic, Jared. I think I see your problem. Your argument:

Not (if not a racist for 69 years, then a racist running for president).

The (equivalent) contrapositive of the parenthetical is: if not a racist running for president, then a racist for 69 years. The negation becomes: not a racist for 69 years and not a racist running for president.

For that argument to be true, both premises would need to be true. I refer you to the excellent article in The Atlantic that effectively refutes the first if not both.

The birther thing, which helped Trump get a huge amount of press, played on racism and Trump had to have known that and he didn’t care. It was an instinctual thing, good for Trump’s brand, so he did it, aided and abetted by the media, which put him on TV over and over. He’s an expert on such matters, you know.

Kush is looking to be cast in one of those summer rom-coms as the ineffective and humid handshake of a husband of the protagonist. In the end, he has an epiphany and runs off with the pool boy to Rio and the heroine of the story is free to pursue that awkward relationship that has simmered all through the movie.

And she keeps the dog who has been a sub plot and comedic foil to Kush. Unfortunately the dog realizes Ivanka is his mistress one hundred percent now and he steps off a local over pass into rush hour traffic. Close scene to uplifting, light hearted music.

There was another clip of interview where you could see his whole body and it’s just like you say except he moves his hands up and down in this really robotic way.

At this point, who could blame him, it usually works! But he does do it with an extra smug air.

A real Inquisitor would definitively say (about the Birtherism non-answer) : “So I’ll take that as a YES”, forcing Kushner to prove why it isn’t. These tv journalists are uniformly weak, accepting BS and dodges every time.

“That was a long time ago" = 2 years. Wait until he deals with the institutional memory of Palestinians, Israelis and Iranians.
