We are all, under the constitution, guaranteed the right to our opinions however stupid, racist, and hurtful they are. It’s when somebody acts on their opinion, as Cobb has done, that something could be done about this racist dumb ass. Lawsuit (defamation) time!

How about this? I hope all of his children find true and everlasting love with the darkest skinned, most flamboyantly ghetto, black folks, and I wish for them to have many, many children who don’t even look biracial. May those children go on to do great things with their lives, always remembering to tell the story of their evil grandfather who they’ll say was nothing more than a shit stain on the human race. I don’t wish guys like Craig Cobb death. I wish him everlasting karma.

Cobb’s karma is already inside him seeing as 14% of his genes originate from African people from south of the Sahara. A bit 'o self hatred perhaps?
I’m surprised she’d never experienced something like this, but maybe being a mid 50’s white guy I’ve just lived through times when more white folks were more open about their negative feelings toward black even in front of black people. We are further along than we were then, but there are definitely some old folks that haven’t changed a bit, some young folks that have been raised under that mindset, and both groups would like to go back to it.
It’s a similar mindset to me as people that are very religious but hateful toward people of other religions. And if I’m correct in thinking all humans came from ancestors in sub-saharan Africa, don’t we all have some percentage of those genes?
That too, but as you get older and dare I say more cynical, it would be good to know that you are aware of the bs. You can’t be to idealistic, you’ll set yourself up for disappointment.

People of European ancestry (as Bill Clinton pointed out) may carry Neanderthal genes. They can be as high as 4% in some people.

I see these bright young people on campus and around town and think that yes, all that struggle was worth it, and then recall that the struggle has just started. Nothing left now but the absolute bottom of the barrel of the die-hards; this young woman has probably never met one until now, and now she sees that it’s still 1959 in some places.

When you deal with a diseased scavenging jackal like Cobb, it’s isn’t surprising that he acts like a diseased scavenging jackal. Period.
The bright and successful young lady must just learn that such poisonous creatures as Cobb do still exist among us. Cobb is one of life’s most pathetic losers…and only feels elevated when he can tear someone else down. Learn from the experience and don’t be scarred by the experience. You had a close brush with something very foul and toxic: IT (Cobb) is the problem; Seeking a cure for him is the solution.
