Discussion: WaPo: State Department Spent $15,000 At Trump Tower Vancouver In February

I think it’s more the other way around. Trump will just not pay, and contractors and subcontractors will file liens and sue. Trump then bonds the liens and says “fuck you, I’ll bond this lien forever or until you settle for 1/4 of what I owe you”, plus money wins in court battles of this nature.

I never worked in a Trump building, nor will I. But I do know some who did…and never did again.

so, the begged question is: “will Jr’s security detail follow him to Leavenworth and protect his “pretty” ass in prison?”

Can we please not have the prison rape jokes. not even the trumps deserve that.

We’ve got the president and all his associates essentially committing crimes that would have sunk previous presidents, and we’re all still waiting for that REALLY BAD THING that’s going to end the insanity. I’m not sure such a bad thing exists, frankly, and I’m even less confident such a bad thing, were it to exist and occur, would turn the tables of government in a progressive direction in the end.

The Democrats should stop waiting for Trump to self-destruct and broadcast a coherent, cohesive message to voters. Something positive. Something active Something aggressive, even–if that’s at all possible.

For instance, there’s a story out there about some Dems proposing improvements to the ACA, but the leadership hasn’t spoken out about it yet. Why the hell don’t they put together a package and shout it from the rooftops while the Republicans are jerking around? Propose changes, and make sure the public knows it’s going to preserve coverage and not amount to a giveaway to the wealthy. Does that not seem like a good message to have out there?

What the hell do these people do all day? Waiting for Trump to self-destruct is like waiting for a burning fuse to reach the TNT.

Flipped over to Faux last night
You would not believe what us Liberal Commies are up to
Dija know we are being incited to riot at demonstrations by paid agitators.
Dija know that we are colluding with Russia and they are funding environmental groups to stop fracking so that Russian Oil is more valuable .
That 35-40% …
It’s hopeless

I did not mention rape any where in my comment and not the intent of the comment, I did mention protection though 'cause the m’fer is a traitor

edit: in retrospect I can see the association with the use of “pretty”, was not intended that way

I know, right? I mean it took, what, 10 minutes from the Watergate break ins until he resigned, right? Why the hell is this taking so long? I watch Law and Order and they ALWAYS wrap up everything in an hour.

And those damn Dems in the majority sitting on their asses instead of passing legislation…that’s EXACTLY why I can’t be bothered to vote for one, especially every two years. Good grief, don’t they know I have things going on.

That was an excellent comeback, man. Really funny, cutting stuff. Badass.

You tell me what the Dems are doing right now to come together with a message, then we’ll discuss it.

Its a valid question (rape aside)…how would the Secret Service provide protection to a member of a President’s immediate family, if they are imprisoned?

My guess is the family member gets moved into protective custody/solitary for the remainder of the Presidential term.

Violation of Federal campaign finance laws or other statutes relating to foreign agents or entities are pardonable offenses. Junior never need worry himself about protection in a prison setting.

Most of the commenters are quite pleasant and smart. It’s also a good way to see what conservatives think.

why are we paying for these adults to go play wherever? 15 k for a ribbon cutting in a foreign country?

Those are some expensive hookers! The meth tab must be included.

So long as an alternative reality can be fabricated on far right wing media like Fox “News”, and nothing contradictory reaches them, most of the 35-40% will not change their views – until something bad happens to THEM.

Nixon still had 34% support the day he resigned.

Well, a lot of Democratic congresspeople, for one. Anyone heard about progress on the Emoluments Clause lawsuit?

I’d like to see the line item breakdown.

The only thing that Trump supporters are conserving is brain power, because they sure aren’t using it now.
