This is very appropriate, as a number of Trump appointees may well be its tenants in the future.

(And that guy in the pic is sleeping on the job.)

This one is actually worse, looks like the two guys in Zinke’s outfit are as inept as Trump in PR

By the way the Governor of Puerto Rico, who gave the contract is a Republican. The Mayor of San Juan is a Democrat. Still trying to figure out who the President of Puerto Rico might be.

Do ya think that they golf with their guns on?

That little Keebler fuck Sessions may have recused himself from the Russian collusion scandal but he’s knee deep to a short mud duck in his racist/drug war.

They were awarded the contract solely on the strength of their connections to the Trump administration so they obviously can’t afford to be seen being respectful towards a Latina.

Whitefish Energy has deleted this Tweet (duh). But a few comments:

  • why is this tiny power company of 2 people wasting time with attack tweets (I mean they are not Trump…)
  • an energy company actually is threatening the city/mayor of San Juan?
  • this company has only 44 linemen in the city of San Juan (population 390K) after 1 month?? They are putting in new power lines in my neighborhood (township pop 2.5K), and easily have 1-2 dozen guys on site for about 1/2 mile of post/line.

Dying to know the full story here.

There’s a line between the secretary of the interior and this contract. What’s the use of being in the trumpastration if you can’t self deal.

They got their advance payment, they can probably walk away with that in their pocket and then hit the right wing media circuit to blame San Juan’s mayor for their hurt feelings.

This explains why ICE is not emptying the jails of undocumented felons. Felons serving time for non violent crimes like writing bad checks and have served some portion of their sentence. Hard to believe there are not a few states that would work with ICE to reduce their prison populations.

That’s not accurate. Mayor Cruz belongs to the Popular Democratic Party, which wants Puerto Rico to remain a US territory. Governor Rosselló belongs to the New Progressive Party, which wants statehood. Each party has members associating with both major national parties. I think, but am not sure, that both are considered fairly centrist.

ALL this money being laundered .

Don’t let the names confuse you. Just like in Minnesota there is the Democratic Farmers Labor Party, for practical speech everybody refers to them as “democrats”.

Same way in Puerto Rico, even in political TV adds I have seen the candidates of the New Progressive Party referred as “Republicans”
