When Dems lose this attitude of always worrying what some opponent will âget you forâ, maybe we will begin speaking our minds?
Iâm a life-long New Yorker. I was born in Brooklyn, raised in Jersey and now live north of the city. Iâm an engineer and a principle in a construction related company.
For years Iâve fought stupid âleftâ and ârightâ laws and assorted bullshit in my field, but now that Iâm looking at some career changes that may move me to Wisconsin or elsewhere, my wife and I are seriously looking at state and local laws of all kinds in the places I may have offers. Itâs frightening!
New York has screwed up crap like every other state, usually due to inter-party conflict! In my opinion Cuomo gets a bad rap for some stuff, and a pass for others-Call it a wash-but he seems to get shit done.
He does seem to get results, his family has a long history of effective public service, and I just like him.
His statement is just that, a statement. I think ONE thing we can appropriate from republicans right now is âown itâ and move on. Let them squeal, let them foam at the mouth. Shrug and double down on the POINT you were making.
In short, itâs time for Dems to âbulk upâ and stop being the sissyâs that get sand kicked in their face at the beachâŚ

Thanks for the response. All of that is true. But it is also true that Cuomo will be beaten over the head for that comment if he decides to run, like it or not, and even if we take the reasonable tack you take here. He (and us) have to be ready for that, because it will happen.
