Like when Ryan retweeted the $1.50/week savings as a Positive Story.
k-k-karma round 1. Betting the next wave will be even stronger.
When Vickie Eydie told Bette Midler she was sure she could resurrect her career if she could just get on MTV – so she was going to make a music video, Bette told her, “Vickie, that’s a marvelous idea. But before you make the video, don’t you think you should have yourself a record to sell?”
So when little Snotty Walker says silly shit like, " Let’s share our positive story with voters & win in November," my only response can be:
Snotty, that’s a marvelous idea. But before you go campaigning on a positive story, don’t you think you ought to have a positive story?
Goddam college dropouts.
It’s a beautiful morning in Wisconsin. Everyone I voted for won! A rarity of late.
Praying the SC slaps down their horrible gerrymandering. We need to ditch these monsters before it’s too late, if it’s not already. They trashed this beautiful state for greed and power, they are due for a reckoning.
In Republicancoocooland, there is no center, center-left, left or far left. The Bircher-right is the center the merely conservative is the left and thus everyone from Third Way to Our Revolution are all “the Far Left.” This isn’t just propaganda, they deeply believe it. It is fundamental to their worldview and apocalyptic response to the election of even the most moderate Democrat. Because that’s how aristocrats, oligarchs, plutocrats, and autocrats have always viewed the world and their views are the only ones allowed.
That said, and as always, you see a similar, but not identical and far less monolithic and consequential worldview at work among some people in the real left and real far left. People who agree with them on 70-90% of the issues are despised “corporatists,” “DLC Dems,” and/or “neoliberals” while they represent the true majority whose will is being thwarted by “Wall Street.” But even then, you can have a conversation with almost all of them that is merely frustrating rather than the ones you have with True Believer Republicans that are invariably baffling and troubling and frightening the way a conversation with someone you come to realize is mentally ill can be.
Shorter Walker: We should never have elections that we are going to lose.
Trump: The Colored should not be allowed to vote.
Well, after all, Koch money is not from the outside, since they reside in Wisconsin.
By the way, for all those who said it couldn’t be done, not only did Wisconsin do it, but the State was the recipient of an early Spring snowstorm that dropped anywhere from a few inches to a foot of snow.
And still, the Democrats and voters showed up.
Walker: The Far Left is driven by anger & hatred
Tea Party: Anger and Hate is our TradeMark. The Liberals cant have it.
I think that helped Dallett. Madison and Milwaukee areas didn’t get much snow, a few inches. Heaviest was further north in more red areas. Although bright-red Waukesha county didn’t get much either, and voting was down there.
Blue is pumped, red is slumped!
And the winner for most punchable face goes to…
My town, Hudson, is considered a Twin Cities suburb. It’s pretty blue there, because of the influence of Minnesota, right across the St. Croix river which runs between us and Bayport, MN.
We got nine inches there.
Here’s hoping that you get your own personal tsunami, Scott.
ugh, so sorry. Only a few here in Madison. Yes, no amount of snow would have kept me and fellow Dems from voting yesterday.
I’m so sick of snow. And the GOP!
Is anyone running against him??
A fairly large crop of reported challengers, but the Dems really don’t have any big names in the game. Madison Mayor Paul Soglin one of the bigger names, but I don’t think he can win statewide office. He is the sterotype of the ‘Madison liberal’ that the GOP uses to rile up the up-staters.
“The Far Left is driven by anger & hatred”
The victimization is now not second nature to these people, it now comes out from a natural state. It is not enough to say “driven by anger” which has truth to it. It is to be expected that opposing sides develop anger. But he has to inject the notion that we hate them. They are victims in this, just doing what needs to be done. Poor innocent victims.
Tony Evers is the leader at the moment apparently, he has won a few state races as State schools superintendent, but he’s not widely known really. They better coalesce around someone soon and start getting the name recognition up.
Too bad he didn’t man up and say “Thanks Trump”! But I will, because I honestly think if any other GOP candidate had won the election it would be more of the same for god knows how long (look at Kansas) but since Trump is so bad people are finally waking up.
Maybe Wisconsinites are sick of economically underperforming in every respect compared to bipartisan and cap-D Democratic leaderships in Minnesota, you sick drooling fuck.
What follows is unapologetically elitist, but I cannot fucking fathom how you can get elected governor without even a bachelor’s degree in the twenty-first century. Wisconsin, what the hell is wrong with you?
Walker’s manipulative discriminatory agenda is on full display and the majority of Wisconsin sees it clearly
