I like her !

But what does a nice girl, like her, do in a place like that ?

She had me until she went all cult-ish with her ā€œsome of the things I said were at odds with what Walker believesā€ nonsense. I think she was echoing what the people inside the zombieWalker camp were thinking but made the mistake of saying it out loud.

Iā€™m sure she will find a way to burrow herself back in the club though. Quietly, of course.

Obviously, someone who says what she thinks is a liability to an aspiring presidential campaign.

But sheā€™s certainly got Steve Kingā€™s number and I can see why the Iowa GOP insisted she had to go. Iowa Republicans canā€™t do anything about the message so they can only shoot the messenger. And they certainly couldnā€™t afford to wait around until she got to Joni Ernst.

So when is Fox News going to hire her?

Iowa Republicans and the Walker campaign are sure scared of the truth being advertised!

She will be working for Rand Paul soon.

As someone who spent time in Iowa on a campaign, I agree with the overall theme of Iowa sucking.

Liz Mair:

I do find some of the things Steve King says on immigration embarrassing and factually dubious.

For example, I do not think his 1-100 ratio on DREAMER valedictorians to DREAMER drug mules is mathematically correct.

I also think the fact that King is held out as the only real force in Iowa and representative of what Iowans think is embarassing for Iowa.

I know what Iā€™m about to suggest is unlikely - I mean, this is someone who apparently wanted to work for Scott Walker - but, given the above tweets, is it possible that, maybe, the Iowa GOP called for Mairā€™s resignation because she has what looks to be an at least semi-functioning pre-frontal cortex?

After all, thatā€™s gotta be something Republicans would see as a liability.

Clearly, any criticism of the GOP in general is forbidden. Iā€™m fine with that as a closed system evolves to a state of maximum entropy.

She committed the one sin the Republican party canā€™t forgive: Making sense.

ā€œMorons across America are astounded to learn that people from IOWA grow up rather government-dependent. #agsubsidies #ethanol #brainlessā€

Itā€™s like a guy I was in the army with who now flies helicopters for an air ambulance company. Heā€™s a huge fan of Paul Ryan but heā€™s completely clueless. He got upset when I reminded him that ā€˜tax-payersā€™ paid to train him while he was on the government teat. Flight time doesnā€™t come cheap.

He didnā€™t build thatā€¦

A digital communications specialist who tweets sentiments that make her unemployable to potential clients. A communications expert who needs to explain what she REALLY meant with the words she broadcast. And she was a key Scott Walker hire?

How could any Republican ā€œcommunications strategistā€ EVER take a new job without
understanding the basicsā€¦do not tell the truth about fellow Republicans!!!
