Even though that was a pretty good apology, it means nothing on the eve of the election. Are we to believe he feels that way if there were no election? America is not that stupid.

I did find the video of Ana Navarro’s panel from several hours ago.
Wow, she had a very powerful condemnation.
I stopped when Trumpette #1 explained that when you are a Christian, you forgive someone who apologizes. No. Apology and penance are NOT just words. There have to be actions, too. There has to be sincerity. “I apologize” is not the same as “abracadabra”.

Not defending Billy Bush in any way. He was disgusting in the video, too. Just saying that his correctly done apology is one reason he’s not taking as much heat as Trump. Oh, and he’s not running for president (thank goodness).

I am watching MSNBC at this moment (1 AM eastern time), they are live and the tone of the broadcast is very somber. They are taking on not only Trump but the Republican establishment.

This could not have come at a better time, it’s thrown the Trump campaign into deeper chaos than their normal modus operndi, and no matter what he says, Trump goes into the debate Sunday evening feeling under siege. For an unstable narcissist, who doesn’t think he is ever wrong, this rocks his foundation.
Good for us and ultimately, good for the country.

Really, we deserved to have a TRUE Presidential campaign, we did.
Yes it’s nice, more great than nice, really, to know that Hillary Clinton will win, but dammit. What the hell?.. Honestly… WHAT THE HELL?
Political discourse civilizes us, makes us better, gives us the tools to engage in world politics or trade with other countries, it builds us as a Nation… but this?.. This is a National Embarrassment, regardless of Political Party or even apathy towards politics.

So far, you’re the only one who thinks it was a pretty good apology. Most commenters, including some Republicans, feel it didn’t address women at all (“I’m sorry I said that” but nothing about his actions) and he called the whole thing a distraction. That was before he went on to blame Bill Clinton.

We all should have guessed this was going to end up in the gutter somehow in the end, and all this craziness was going to boil down to lewd tabloid subject matter with a tabloid-type figure like Trump.
The National Enquirer would have taken him down a long time ago had it not already endorsed him…I guess he’s friends with the publisher or something there. But really, when one of the few papers that endorses the Republican candidate for President is the fucking National Enquirer…that should be your first clue something’s wrong with this picture. Will the state of US politics today ever be the same after this mess?
