He’s really starting to fixate on what it will be like to die in prison, isn’t he?

He’s flailing and failing.

It’s a fair question. But so yesterday. Bigger fish to fry (and the skillet’s hot).

It’s great that the WSJ opinion piece refers to a Feb. 2017 opinion piece. That’s solid sourcing. Trump’s at the point of total deflection. And they talked about Nixon’s madness during the Watergate investigation. Dear Leader, the stable genius. If only we could get past living in these “interesting times” and return to sanity.,

I know two places President Obama wasn’t: (1) on the golf course; and (2) on the toilet tweeting like a deranged idiot.

which part?

Where was he? He certainly wasn’t publicly commenting on a covert national security investigation and trying to force public disclosure of the identity of a confidential informant.

I never thought we’d see a propaganda network operating perfectly in a liberal democracy, but we have a wide variety of individuals up to and including the president making completely baseless, false assertions that then get echoingly amplified across a variety of media so that at least the base is persuaded and the middle is confused. It’s Putin’s and Surkov’s vision perfectly realized. It’s a rare day you don’t see it operate.

Somehow, all these people ignore that no one, no one, made the existence of the investigation public prior to the election. Doesn’t their whole “deep state conspiracy to hurt the Trump campaign” theory sort of require that the “deep state” have done something publicly to hurt the Trump campaign? ‘Cuz otherwise, it’s a pretty piss poor conspiracy.

When we watched Bart Simpson duck and dodge for all those years, who knew that someday he would be the model for the putative Leader of the Free World? https://www.bing.com/videos/search?q=bart+simpson+nobody+saw+me+do+it&&view=detail&mid=8983B8B24395701C2FD58983B8B24395701C2FD5&rvsmid=B71778095777BE3C18B4B71778095777BE3C18B4&FORM=VDQVAP

I’m about to the point of thinking Obama should break with tradition and just start calling Trump out on everything he says and does. Every fucking thing.

Yeah! Why wasn’t he? Isn’t that what a president’s supposed to do? Why wasn’t he improperly trying to influence an investigation by the FBI?

A major presidential candidate was having secret meetings with Russians and the FBI had concerns about that relationship. In Trump world the Russians could help him so they are his allies. The FBI could oppose what Trump wanted and therefore are the enemy. There are no values higher than aiding Trump. What’s good for Trump is good for America. This is today’s GOP.
