Discussion for article #226120
Well, if it was a .22, then fine, but anything bigger is too much for a toddler.
That story stinks.
Hey granny, crime that rampant up there or just to many people of different colors everywhere?
This is getting insane…oh sorry, American gun culture is already insane.
Because even toddlers have a right to concealed carry of handguns for defense of others outside of the home just like Heller says.
bunch of paranoid retards with guns who mostly end up shooting their friends, themselves, or their kids.
More on the story:
A state trooper stopped a 95 year old woman on interstate 20, and noticed as he was checking her drivers license, that she had a concealed carry permit. He said, “got any guns with you ma’am?” She said, “yes, a 45 Smith & Wesson in the glove compartment, a 357 magnum in the console and a 38 special in my purse.” The trooper said “lady, what are you scared of?”
She said, “NOT A DAMN THING!!!”
Umm…this is Vermont. Whitest state in the union. Lots of people that live in rural areas have handguns and rifles, and it’s not necessarily because they are a gun nut, paranoid, or a racist.
Particularly the families that have lived here for generations and hunt regularly, they are simply more comfortable with weapons.
It is what it is. At least granny had a trigger lock on it.
-
If it had been a 17-month old boy, there would be dead people in that day care center.
-
Another child that Child Protective Services needs to immediately relocate to a safer home.
-
If you don’t f’ing know where your guns are, how can they possibly “protect” you?
-
If the toddler had shot someone, who would be financially and legally responsible?
Hasn’t there been drug-related violence in VT also?
Would that more people used such safety lock straps on their domestic guns.
According to the 2012 FBI Uniform Crime Report diaper theft had the highest percentage trend increase over all other reported property crimes.
Toddlers are now arming themselves in ever increasing numbers with handguns as a result of these alarming statistics the report also stated.
“Stop. Diaper Theft. Now.” has been the rallying cry for toddlers all across the US in 2014 and has been seen recently drawn in crayon on many bibs, tops and pajamas.
The NRA and the gun manufactures are delighted by this! We need to start arming toddlers and grandmothers.
