Discussion: VA GOP Candidate Responds To Crowd Chanting ‘Lock Her Up’: ‘Might Just Happen’

Doughy-faced double-chinned Nazi-wannabe says wut?

(btw: this clown is Mitch McConnell’s worst legislative nightmare)

Do they even remember what they think HRC did that was illegal? Or how many GOP congressional investigations they wasted their time on?

Look at history. Aggression ends when it’s been more than sated, when it goes too far. It ends when the bloody rampage elicits only horror.

We’re nowhere close to that.

If by “her” they mean Ivanka Trump, Sarah Sanders, Kellyanne Conway, or Betsy DeVos then, yes, it could indeed happen. The sooner the better.

Recall “a vast Right Wing conspiracy”. At this point against Clinton, it’s too big to fail or ever disappear…

Sometimes a truly horrific plague helps end it.

Some of us live here and are unwilling to negate the sacrifice made by 365,000 Union dead and millions of African Americans.

They want to lock up Ivanka now? Fickle.

The Cadaver Synod (also called the Cadaver Trial; Latin: Synodus Horrenda) is the name commonly given to the posthumous ecclesiastical trial of Pope Formosus, held in the Basilica of St. John Lateran in Rome during January 897.[1] The trial was conducted by Pope Stephen VI (sometimes called Stephen VII), who was the successor to Formosus’ successor, Pope Boniface VI. Stephen accused Formosus of perjury and of having acceded to the papacy illegally. At the end of the trial, Formosus was pronounced guilty and his papacy retroactively declared null.

I wonder what would happen if some performance-art group attended these rallies and began chanting, Crucify her!

Well, as a Virginian, I’ve been pretty proud about our recent Democratic victories. The state is firmly changing. That being said, I think it’s interesting the Trump-aligned candidates won here and in SC. I think it means that establishment voters are not showing up, they’re disheartened and dismayed by their party, and - the candidates don’t have anything to run on. If they’re not Trump loyalists, what do they have? I think it portends the turnout of Trump’s insane base (which is not that last in reality) this November, but a fair number of “normal” GOP voters staying home. Here the GOP is NOT happy about last night’s results - oh, and Dave Brat has quite a good challenger.

They are the product of the strict father model.

In the strict father family, father knows best. He knows right from wrong and has the ultimate authority to make sure his children and his spouse do what he says, which is taken to be what is right. Many conservative spouses accept this worldview, uphold the father’s authority, and are strict in those realms of family life that they are in charge of.

The strict father logic extends further. The basic idea is that authority is justified by morality (the strict father version), and that, in a well-ordered world, there should be (and traditionally has been) a moral hierarchy in which those who have traditionally dominated should dominate. The hierarchy is: God above Man, Man above Nature, The Disciplined (Strong) above the Undisciplined (Weak), The Rich above the Poor, Employers above Employees, Adults above Children, Western culture above other cultures, Our Country above other countries. The hierarchy extends to: Men above women, Whites above Nonwhites, Christians above nonChristians, Straights above Gays.

Stewart running in outrageous Trump-like fashion against Kaine, who was Hillary Clinton’s running mate in her failed bid for the presidency.

Isn’t this what the world needs now, hollering, chanting, hatred, and promises to lock up a private citizen?

Here in my 49-square mile city surrounded by reality, we’re going to have the first black woman as mayor soon as the vote is finalized. I’ll be sending alerts when that happens.

Trump said he wouldn’t talk about pardons because Cohen and Manafort haven’t been convicted of anything yet. I’m not a lawyer but I don’t think a conviction is necessary to pardon someone. Also accepting a pardon is NOT an admission of guilt as commonly stated here.
He’ll pardon them both. ???

Because they’re both too stupid and too lazy to think or lead for themselves.

Then they are going to swoon when Mueller begins giving DJT a redass whoopin’. I’ll guess that Ivanka will reassign her Daddy fixation at that moment too.
