Discussion: US Prosecutors Told To Push For More, Harsher Punishments

I guess I’m just not a Paul Ryan level budget wonk. Oh well. Back to my real job. * sigh *

Agreed, and thanks for the full explanation. We know trumpp’s father was something of a tyrant, family never went against him even in small matters such as ordering meals. If Fred wanted well done steak, everyone had to have well done steak (Ivana has touched on this.) So a child becomes his/her parent. Unenlightened parent molds unenlightened offspring. Sometimes I catch myself sounding like my mother, have to laugh when that happens, but she was no tyrant, just a mother trying to do the right thing.

But the larger issue is, I believe, the notion in this country and elsewhere that we have a patriarchy and the word of the men should be unquestioningly accepted. We women fight against that very idea with varying degrees of success.

Right now, the struggle is especially trying and demoralizing.

Not strapped to a gurney - put in general population (in Alabama).

Note also how this AP article quotes DoJ and prosecutors at length about how not going scorched earth was hobbling them, and then offers the tiniest fig leaf from the sane folks.

Stiffer sentences fore those who perjure themselves before Congress would be nice.

How many private prison companies contributed to his previous campaigns? Guess he’s returning the favor.

Does this apply to election tampering, computer-hacking, collusion, espionage, obstruction of justice, and treason? Asking for a friend.

I can never decide who is worse: The Keebler Klansman or Tom Price. I hate them both so much.

Does Jeff have any investments in private prisons? Will his home state benefit?

Sessions is a throwback to 1950’s corruption in office covered by tough talk. What an evil little piece of shit.

Up north, they like to say, “What’s good for the Michigoose is good for the Michigander.”

I could not agree more.
