Discussion: University Of Houston Will Host GOP Debate Days Before Super Tuesday

Discussion for article #245869

GOP debate – in Texas – with a Telemundo co-host. This one is definitely circled on my calendar!

Looks like the RepubliKKKlans’ haven’t figured out yet that they will do much better in the general _____ if they stop revealing who their candidates are.
~rimshot!~

Still
Even as they keep dropping like t*rds rounding the toilet bowl, and so many are now gone, we can still rely on them for a fun filled evening.

I like your poster. But I believe the better stand-in for Cruz is Hitler. Really.

Can’t argue that one!

Holy Fuck. That’s going to mess up traffic. Think I’ll a plan a trip out of town.

It’s hard to understand NBC’s position here. They were rejected by the RNC for not giving sycophantic coverage and yet they don’t act on that. They’ve nothing to lose
they’ve already “lost access”
so let it rip. There’s a bunch of crap in that line up that begs for exposure. Duplicity, religiosity, contradiction and phony baloney stuff. Why not let them have it.

Will it be open carry? They should allow open carry.

And give tickets to Quanelle X and the New Black Panther Party.

The real tell here is Hugh Hewitt. Moderator? CNN and Fox are almost indistinguishable to me. Their talking heads each spent yesterday almost exclusively with GOP operatives and candidates (“Stay tuned for Donald Trump’s phoned-in interview!”). Even MSNBC had trouble finding time for anything about Sanders. You’d think he was cloistered away and unavailable–yet he turned up on Colbert, so maybe not.

As an alumnus of the University of Houston, I’m ashamed to see my alma mater welcoming these lunatics for a debate. Texas A&M would have been a better fit, I think.

As a University of Houston alum I am sadden that these clowns will be allowed to sully the grounds of this institution.

FYI: the University of Houston does get to boost that Elizabeth Warren is a graduate of the school.

Maybe it says something admirable that the Democrats choose not to seek free publicity with the audiences that watch the cable news–no votes to be had there.

The University of Houston will remain as the host site for the Republican presidential debate just days before Super Tuesday on Feb. 25, CNN announced Thursday.

Feb. 25? Won’t that be a super Thursday vote rather than Tuesday?

I think the debate is the 25th and the vote March 1st.
